No, they have inspired some obsessive weirdos to find a new outlet for their obsessive weirdness. Which would have happened with literally any photo or statement released. The vast majority of people will continue to either not notice at all or happily accept she might not be able to wear her ring right now post-surgery. Because most of us aren't obsessive weirdos.

Charlotte is wearing a top under her cardi. Both are very similar colours. It looks like a bit of the sleeve or her top is poking out under the cardigan sleeve.
