I wonder how many in the country (or world) really care.

Not saying that anyone should wish harm on her, certainly not. Whatever this was all about hopefully she's recovering and will be able to do whatever it is that she does.

But to me, and many others no doubt, it's just publicity for a celebrity and a distraction for some of the public from things that really matter in the world.

The picture from the car was very grainy and any of the pictures you've seen where it's pin-sharp were artificially corrected, so you can't really draw any conclusions at all from it. This is a lovely picture and the fact that people are going insane about it (smiling too much, Louis's sweet little hand) just goes to show that there is nothing they can do to calm the rumour mill. It's a family picture. I wish my DH would take the occasional posed, smiling, happy picture of me with my DCs. I've got about two.
