Doh.

Some trees are evergreen, you know.

I've loads of trees in my garden that have leaves on now.
Some are evergreen, others are already showing leaves.

It's warmer in the south, you know!

Spring is very much here.

I was thinking it might be a wisteria.

One thing I DID spot is that Louis looks like he’s lost a baby tooth - congrats Louis

I noticed that, I was waiting for someone to come up with a photo proving/disproving this was taken in the last week "look he had that tooth at Christmas" or on the other hand "he lost that tooth last September the 27th and he has a new one now."

Maybe they already have, I haven't got to the end of the thread yet.

This has to be the most saccharine thread title ever.
I cant help but hear Jennie Bond's voice as I read it.

Well it's nice that she's on her feet a bit again. Hope she's better soon.

In the meantime, this whole sorry saga will be turned into a case study module at the Crisis PR Training Centre.

Edited

Agreed! I think the update is great, and exactly what they should have released when the speculation started getting out of hand. It's better late than never but KP is clearly just doing damage control at this point.

Needed her to be reading today's newspaper to mean anything Grin

We need proof of life, god damn it! 😉

Some comments on this thread tell me that some posters are sheep, some are bitchy and I wonder what has happened to others to make them post such things. Pitiful.

Charlotte and Louis look so much older!

I agree. I think this was taken in the future.

Do you know what bothers me the most?

That the people posting on this thread walk among us. It's quite frightening really. Honestly, some truly batshit crazy posters who actually have the headspace for this stuff

I regularly hide this topic and these threads - back to it!

Did you live through the pandemic? Did you realise how many anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers walk around us as well? That wasn't just giving headspace to silly gossip but people knew their actions could literally kill other human beings and still didn't give a shit. Humanity is batshit by default.

but it is Mother's Day in the UK so makes sense to me.

Sususudio · 10/03/2024 12:10

I really hope Catherine is planning a Thelma and Louse style getaway with Sophie, and the next glimpse we get is of them sailing over the Grand Canyon in a 1966 Thunderbird. With a happier ending.

I did an actual LOL at that! Grin

Lovely photo

Livingtothefull · 10/03/2024 12:14

Sorry but the context of this photo is weird. There are so many in here that seem to invite speculation, either their PR is lousy or they are deliberately trying to wind people up.

Why would someone recovering from surgery be in hiking boots?

Why choose a spot with the tree behind them in full leaf showing autumnal signs? Yes it may be an evergreen but to my (admittedly untrained) eye it doesn't look like one.

Why no rings? Yes it could well be that she can't wear them for medical reasons - but if so why not just explain that, or simply don't show her hands in the photo?

Didn't they think all this would invite speculation, or do they just not care?

Kate is not a private individual, she is a public figure whose role is funded by the taxpayers. Although we are not of course entitled to details of her recovery or medical info, I think that we are entitled to clear communication about her progress, and this photo isn't it; it invites more questions than it answers. Some posters may be happy being patronised by this kind of non communication but I'm not.

This and the newspaper post made me laugh

If we are being picky, I'd also prefer the picture was in their lounge being relaxed.

Edited

Perhaps you should write to them with your helpful suggestions , I'm sure they will respond appropriately

DinnaeFashYersel · 10/03/2024 12:14

The image, taken by Prince William at Windsor earlier this week, shows the princess with her three children

I see no reason to not believe this.

Unless you are a tinfoil hat wearer.

Redpaisley · 10/03/2024 12:16

Aquarius1234 · 10/03/2024 11:33

I think they should be looking at each other. Not the camera/William.

Edited

Strange comment. Now even looking at camera while their photo is being taken is an issue 😕

TroysMammy · 10/03/2024 12:18

From other photos Catherine doesn't wear a wedding ring/band she usually wears her engagement ring which belonged to Diana.

I've got evergreen shrubs in my garden and Louis is nearly six and isn't it one of the bottom teeth that fall out first around this age?

Aquarius1234 · 10/03/2024 12:21

Wow amazing.
No text would have been better than that.
It's like that short hilarious CBB apology.
Are we 5 year old s lol

TabithaTwitchel · 10/03/2024 12:21

@lifebeginsaftercoffee I know, right? Scary is the right word. I actually wonder if a lot of the posters on this topic are mentally unwell.

Lourdes12 · 10/03/2024 12:21

Second sentence in article: The image, taken by Prince William at Windsor earlier this week, shows the princess with her three children.

Paidanddone · 10/03/2024 12:22

Aquarius1234 · 10/03/2024 11:48

Let's be honest they would rather no official pictures were ever taken. So in that case I don't either. All fake and staged.

Let's see them again in 10 years time maybe.

You sound very troubled

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 10/03/2024 12:24

They're suede boots, not hiking boots. People really are desperate to criticise/conspiracy theorise absolutely anything, aren't they?

Seaitoverthere · 10/03/2024 12:25

Torn between laughing at people saying they aren’t horticultural experts then commenting on the plants and worrying about my garden not having got the memo that it isn’t supposed to be in leaf.

What a great thread to get an insight into how the minds of some people work, though a bit worrying on one level.
