You can't see her stomach so how do you know how tight-fitting they are, or even if they're proper jeans not a jeggings or similar?

And loads of people can't wear jewellery for a good period of time after surgery or when they're on certain medication, even if they are in the public eye.

don’t be ridiculous. ‘Where is Kate?’ is international news on a daily basis and the palace are desperately trying to calm it and they thought ‘hey it doesn’t matter she’s not wearing her wedding rings even though the gossip sites are full of rumours her and William have split.’

For full disclosure, my son today is wearing a second hand "old-fashioned" Boden cardigan, he smiled with teeth at me at least three times, the horror, and my garden is just as green as the Waleses' garden (just checked whilst having my tea).

Maybe they did take the photo earlier, maybe not. She's published it today and that's her decision. That is all! I think it's likely the photo is recent, she's clearly lost more weight and is sat down not in her usual active mode. Let the woman rest now, she's alive and posting on Instagram!

There is plenty of greenery in my garden, also the grass in the picture is quite long so indicative taken quite recently .

I've never noticed their wedding rings. Just the engagement one of course.

If we are being picky, I'd also prefer the picture was in their lounge being relaxed.

I agree. It's terrible PR as it is bound to cause speculation. If done deliberately to annoy 'the little people' then it's disgraceful. I'm a big fan of the royals but is very off the mark.

My garden looks the same as their’s- clipped old lavender that hasn’t regrown yet. A false cherry that already has leaves (and a few blooms). I must have travelled back in time to last spring. Damn it, I didn’t even notice.

Oh and I didn’t wear my wedding ring for months after my c section because my fingers had swollen so much. Good thing DH didn’t notice or we would have been divorced and he would have moved out. That’s how that works- right?

It has to be taken recently, as Charlotte’s teeth are almost grown in, whereas she had gaps at Christmas.

The internet is already working overtime - people asking WHERE her rings are!

And as for the rings, she’s probably had post-surgery steroids, which would make her fingers a little puffy. She looks great.

Let's be honest they would rather no official pictures were ever taken. So in that case I don't either. All fake and staged.

Let's see them again in 10 years time maybe.
