You hate them, we get it. You don't know them though, you only know an image as presented.

The decision to release a photo of Kate very obviously not wearing her rings is odd. One assumes that the PR people are not daft, so they must have realised this would throw a massive bucket of petrol onto the bonfire of speculation, yet they still chose to do it. What were they thinking?

Don't they release a photo every year on MD? If they didn't, the haters would criticise them for that too. I really think they can't win sometimes.

I think you're looking for something that can be easily explained. My engagement and wedding rings are very closely fitted because I don't want them coming off, when I had surgery they didn't go back on for some time because they fit so tight.

all these type of posts are silly. You’re not the future queen doing an official photo which is approved by a PR team. The lack of rings in an official royal photo is significant and that won’t have been missed by officials.

I didn't wear my wedding ring after surgery either, Christ alive , this thread is so depressing and all those posters saying they just wanted a bit of proof and they'd be happy, it's just rubbish isn't it. The ghouls will never ever be satisfied

It was some time ago now that she had surgery though, I don't think she needs to avoid clothes being snug this long after. If the clothes are too tight after surgery, how can the claim also be made the ring should be on and fit perfectly? I think, its Mothers Day, they've released a happy photo and thanks to the public and all this analysis of a single photo is a bit OTT. She looks very well, so now I think the theories she won't be back for 6-9 months can probably end.
