I don't know, but I'm pretty sure Kate doesn't send her 'sources'out to crow openly when Meghan has a bad publicity day. It's particularly unpleasant given the recent speeches from Meghan about women being unkind to women. It's proper mean girl behaviour, and undermines the image she is desperate to project as a Very Lovely Person.

It did occur to me today that a lot of people on the self proclaimed (and even unproclaimed) Sussex Squad have scored a spectacular own goal in the last few days by cheering on ( and in some cases actively taking part) in the bullying of POW so relentlessly.

There was a point about 24 hours ago when it flipped from unpleasant to unhinged ButI think they’re getting such pleasure from it that they can’t see how hypocritical it makes them.

People can’t say they are against social
media bullying and press intrusion and then cheer it on when it is happening to someone they don’t like and still be a morally good person.

This not aimed at you- just part of my train of thought. I find it depressing.

They don’t really care about women or they would never take such pleasure in this. Therefore, they don’t truly care about Meghan. She is a stranger to them anyway. So what is this actually about?

I recently saw a famous man, can’t remember who, talking about how creepy people could be. “I love you”. “Well, that’s really weird because you don’t know me.”

Being awful about one of these women and then saying “well, people do it to the other” just strikes as that level of creepy.

Also, you see it done here to get at “Royalists.” But I don’t honestly get the impression C has those kinds of committed fans and followers. I like her fine, but don’t feel any strong attachment. I did really like HMQ but it wasn’t the kind of adoration I’m talking about.

It's other people.maing stuff up they don't know the actual person hasn't said anything.

Whether it's sources close to Megahn or sources close to the RF ...it's bs speculation at best unless you hear them say it themselves.

We really can’t know given the history with her friends giving the letter to people and Jason Knauf being told to brief Scobie. Since those admissions “sources” will alway be suspicious.

Everyone knows they need to verify sources, they can’t just write any old nonsense from any old nonsense SS member - they do try to keep a veneer of respectability in the main press at least. If it’s totally made up I’m sure they’ll issue a correction and apology soon. But seeing Omid online, I don’t think their spokesperson has got it wrong this time, like he did over the queens funeral plans.

Which by the way, had Thomas Markle released the rest of the letter in a US publication it would have not even gone to court. If it did, Meghan having allowed other parts of the letter to be released would have been a defense to any complaint (not sure there is one that could have been made). Judges in US are often pretty harsh and would mocked the disengunuity of releasing parts of letter in order to humiliate someone then complaining when they released the remainder of it.

They are sad, angry, lonely people holed up in their homes discharging their anger 24/7 pretending to be moral crusaders. A distraction from their unsatisfactory RL.

I have today seen reports Meghan has reached out directly to Kate to tentatively offer her support. Joining it all together, perhaps Meghan doesn’t see the vitriol aimed as Kate as anything more than support for her.

I’m a royalist btw, just observing what I read in this thread is venting, perhaps milder than on certain other platforms, but venting all the same.

Yes it happens in both directions to both women by fans of the other, on all forms of social media. This forum has plenty of threads that are vile about Meghan, you can look back through and see them.

No one has speculated about Meghan's marriage ending, bowels or pretended she was dead on this thread under the veneer of faux concern.

Criticising grief vulturing is an entirely different matter.

Someone made a comment here about Meghan 'ironing her face but not her clothes' but meanwhile there is a lot of complaining about 'meanness' to Kate!

Another poster, not me, made a point about over filtering, and that’s akin to gleefully speculating about divorce by pretending to be concerned about wedding rings. Ok.

on the board though, you should have a look around, it's quite revealing. On this thread as I just mentioned there is in fact nasty comments. There is a lot of speculation about their marriage online, including this forum too. If people really don't like any of it, they should probably not be here either.

You’re right there are lots of nasty comments such as women being called hags, turds, and the rest. Hope you’re calling out those actual posters in real time instead of petty point scoring.
