I was watching an item on the breakfast news this morning about the Kate furore.
That woman has been hounded and vilified.... for what? She wants privacy about a medical procedure? Unbelievable.
This is a woman who never overshares, comments or discusses personal issues or complains publicly about others. All she wants is privacy and space. Awful.

There is nothing wrong with a Dairylea cheese triangle, esp on an oatcake. Or Cathedral City cheese spread ditto. As kids we had Dairylea on white bread after school but I have now upgraded to sourdough.

Speaking of stuff that monarchs bought, if you ca find a copy of Ian Mortimer's book The Fears of Henry IV, have a look at what Henry took when he went on crusade to Lithuania. Basically the ship was a floating sweetshop. No idea if he took cheese, though.

Fun fact - Henry IV is the only English king to have visited Jerusalem.
