I don’t get why everyone was howling about the photo being edited because she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring. Maybe she actually wasn’t because it’s a bit uncomfortable at the moment

With fucking bells on! The press basically claiming victimhood for their own venality, laziness and stupidity.

Or, like me, doesn’t wear it all the time anyway, as I do various things where a ring like that just gets in the way. Or, shocking thought, maybe she’s using the time out of the public eye to get the rings cleaned, recoated, settings strengthened etc. Meghan’s not been wearing her engagement ring for months. Apart from a few conspiracy nutters talking about it, I don’t recall wall to wall press coverage on the matter.

The press are doing what they do best and that’s trying to whip everyone up into a frenzy, and quite successfully if the madness seen on MN over the last 24 hours is anything to go by.

It does look like the press have realised that they no longer can dictate terms and play things their own way as they have done over the years, the rules are changing and it’s now Williams’s way. They aren’t happy at being kept out of the loop to the extent that they have had to resort to swiping photos from an instagram account.

I just started to follow the W&K official Instagram page and noted my 20 year old daughter follows them, she said she has been following them for a few years, she showed me that lots of her Uni friends and her boyfriend follow them
also, was surprised as I thought young people didn’t have much interest in the RF.

Never take your rings off even if they are cutting off your circulation. Gangrene is better than the press thinking you are getting a divorce.

Who would have thought a family photo taken at home by amateurs - shared on their own social media with an edit fail would be that interesting. I guess Kate lives rent free in a lot of heads 😂 She’s continuing to live her best life despite the frothing.

Strange the PR fail and griefsploitation doesn’t get the same scrutiny - really illuminates one’s moral compass, or lack of.

All the chat about how Carole Middleton tried to engineer Kate with William - if one of my daughters came home and mentioned meeting a British royal I think I’d try and whisk them abroad for as long as possible and hope the royal found someone else.

My boys I wouldn’t be quite so worried about as there’s nowhere near as much frothing about Mike (despite dwarf throwing!) Jack or Eduardo. They do get the “live in a nice place and go to the occasional fancy event” life quite nicely k think.
