It's very sad to hear the details about the death of Thomas Kingston, no-one really knows what goes on in someone's life, as we were saying. He was talented, handsome, wealthy, married to a clever, beautiful woman with connections to royalty. People would look at him and be so jealous! Very sad.

That’s shocking, @jeffgoldblum how insensitive of her. Just think of the stress you were already under.

To hear Harry - and some others - talk , it is as if he was the only one who lost a parent . William is only 2 years older and must have gone through just as much distress but , unlike his brother , he hasn’t milked the situation for money ..

Slightly off topic - I know we’ve previously chatted about narcissism, cult of personality and how it impacts society etc. Thought I’d flag the jury experiment on channel 4. Wasn’t well put together in a lot of respects, not a solid watch tbh.However was interesting to watch groupthink in action, domineering people influencing, people self righteous in their opinions, using personal experiences to sway others, shaming and censoring differing opinions etc., it was all more emotive rather than rooted in cold hard logic.

I think we should formally reinstate this medieval habit of giving monarchs and princes and politicians nicknames - especially if they're disparaging. Let the so and sos know what we think of them.

Need to think carefully on the names, though. Might be easier to kick them out if they have the wrong name, that's what the republicans want.
