I just read an article in the DM about this. I really honestly couldn't believe he would do this. I just hope it isn't true. Just how could he. Privacy????.

Apparently when asked Harry said 'it was between him and his father'

maybe that was their way of being informal I mean how do you usually address a Duke and Duchess ? they probably thought Sir/M'amm was fine.

When the Duchess of Windsor (Wallace) had the title 'HRH' refused/removed she was formally addressed as 'Your Grace'.

(I think that Edward insisted that she be addressed as 'Your Royal Highness' as far as possible, though, by staff etc. He was very insulted by the whole title business, apparently.)

Which means either . . .
a) no-one told him anything. Nothing, nada, zilch, nowt, nix, Sweet Felicity Arkwright, bugger all, not a dicky bird, bupkis, sod all, sweet FA, not a sossidge

(this is my preferred option)

or . . .
b) he was told something* but he's keeping it under wraps because it's for the ILBW's book

*not necessarily the right thing

edited to add "not a sossidge"

Or (c) he is hoping to gain some trust so that he is given more information to monetise.

Well it’s a whole new book he needs to fill

Even paperback 'Spare' isn't due until a very tardy June this year.

He really needs to get those crayons out...

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 17/02/2024 21:17

hes got 2 more books to fill!

(this is why was sceptical about the idea he and Meghan had fed stuff for the Scobie book- he needs all the gossip for his own! 2 books! That’s so much dirt to find. )

Now we know why he was so keen to come over and see his father: get some headlines and material for his interview; hope KC didn’t say much
I’m thinking that Harry’s cheeky chappie, man of the people persona was a master stroke by very clever Royal PR people, to hide a vacuous, unpleasant person

My niece looked after him and his party on a flight to the US (cabin crew) and he was nothing but polite and engaging. He learned their names and thanked her for looking after them. A delight it seems. When did you meet him?

Thegreengreengrassofhomes · 17/02/2024 22:56

We know all we need to know about him from his own ghastly words and actions.

Ilovecleaning · 17/02/2024 23:16

Bored stiff with Harry and all his bollocks. But the DM is a load of bollocks, too! 😂

Oh come on. This thread is absolutely bonkers. Obviously they will ask a question and he will respond in a way that reveals no more information than we already know. But it’s the usual press trying to get everyone in an anti H&M frenzy.

💯

I agree.

@CathyorClaire he's too late for that . God knows what is in that first one - maybe the Las Vegas pics?

Can't believe there are so many people that believe the toxic Daily Fail and fall for their 'news' hook, line and sinker. The interview was about Invictus. Harry was asked about his father's Illness and he said 'it is between me and my father' Harry is right, there is unconscious bias. During the Oprah interview neither 'trashed' the family. They explained their side to counter the barage of untrue stories written about them..

Sometimes it’s worth reading the whole thread & being apprised of all the facts before posting.

At last the voice of reason 👏

Goodness me, I thought you must be joking but there are about a dozen similar on Goodreads (including a toddlers edition, which tickled my fancy, so to speak!).
