I just read an article in the DM about this. I really honestly couldn't believe he would do this. I just hope it isn't true. Just how could he. Privacy????.

I can't believe he would do this? Surely he would tell them that he could not discuss his father or Kate in this interview?

Even if he answers questions in a very generic way - 'He is doing well thank you' . He will get savaged in the press. The narrative will be that he only came over to see his father so he could credibly answer questions on his tour.

notreadyandable · 16/02/2024 09:33

How is your dear dad harry? I don't know, nobody will tell me anything, waaaagggghhh!

CurlewKate · 16/02/2024 09:33

To be fair, the thread title is not what's been said at all. But hey, ho. We all know that Harry and Meghan caused KC3's cancer, don't we?

EasternEcho · 16/02/2024 09:35

@MaturingCheeseball I think he meant to say "will not be broke". As in, will continue to grift , including his rent-a-prince business.

Would be funny if KC has done a Coleen Rooney and fed PH dud info to see if it ‘leaks out’..lol

Windsatha Christie 🤣🤣

Good old Harold. Always count on him to use the royals to get interviews, he maybe won't disclose anything private (well we can hope) but wtf is he doing discussing his practically estranged df at all. Ugh can just imagine that whispery voice 'yah he's good we"re just reaching out and giving him all our love support' 🤮

Oh but Invictus Games goo king Harry yayyy!

You obviously hate him, which is fair enough, but his actual name is Henry!

I saw it on GMB Ranvir Singh's eyes almost rolled out of her head 😄

That’s not an accusation I’ve seen anyone, anywhere make. What is your source?

MaturingCheeseball · 16/02/2024 09:38

@CurlewKate - well they’ve certainly not made him feel any better, that’s for sure.

True, the interview is supposedly to discuss him and Meghan - but still - why? Courting the media now is surely hypocritical ? Using the Invictus Games is distasteful.

Mydahliasareshit · 16/02/2024 09:39

Ah well, we have Kate's delicious Uncle Gary coming up in a few weeks on Celeb Big Brother to look forward to. He's usually happy to make his thoughts on certain people known.

crumblingschools · 16/02/2024 09:41

BBC news website also states he’s going to talk about King’s health, so not just DM stirring the headlines

Is it a reading comprehension thing? Not only does the mail not say what the op said it says, neither does the bbc, it says he will break his silence.

EasternEcho · 16/02/2024 09:45

@Frasers That's the headline. The first sentence literally says "The Duke of Sussex is set to discuss his father the King's health in a television interview in the US."

Yeah but cmon, that’s not to be taken in isolation.

Candleabra · 16/02/2024 09:49

On the BBC website now…. Could be a bit of spin on what he actually said I suppose. But if he is actually doing an interview about his fathers poor health it’s just unbelievably bad. It looks like the first piece of new information he’s got he runs straight to the press with it.

Mylovelygreendress · 16/02/2024 09:50

The frantic dash over makes even more sense now .

Tempnamechng · 16/02/2024 09:51

Wasntmeanttobelikethis · 16/02/2024 08:53

Now we know why he was so keen to come over and see his father: get some headlines and material for his interview; hope KC didn’t say much
I’m thinking that Harry’s cheeky chappie, man of the people persona was a master stroke by very clever Royal PR people, to hide a vacuous, unpleasant person

I always thought this too. I think Megan was villanised for Harry's decisions. I think she was certainly an opportunist, but he is the one who should have made sure she was fully clued up on protocol, and should have protected her better by arranging help for her depression.

Wasntmeanttobelikethis · 16/02/2024 09:52

Harry has really cheapened the Royal brand, and confirmed that if you peep behind the curtain, the Royals, without the PR and pomp and ceremony, aren’t that special after all

break his silence? About what this time?

CatchAButterfly · 16/02/2024 09:55

Oh come on. This thread is absolutely bonkers. Obviously they will ask a question and he will respond in a way that reveals no more information than we already know. But it’s the usual press trying to get everyone in an anti H&M frenzy.

Samcro · 16/02/2024 09:56

just imagine he just says ,his father is doing well, and nothing else.
what will this thread be about lol

Wasntmeanttobelikethis · 16/02/2024 09:57

If he does speak out and betray the King’s privacy, Prince William will implode and surely speak out?

I know, but it’s interesting to read other people’s views on the gruesome twosome

It said the same for William, when he spoke to it at the gala dinner thing.

I’d out good money that won’t happen.
