I just read an article in the DM about this. I really honestly couldn't believe he would do this. I just hope it isn't true. Just how could he. Privacy????.

He might not even know anything!

Perhaps he'll be talking more along the lines of how he feels & how it impacts him?

Wtf? 'I love my family.'

Am I missing something? Isn't he the chap who completely trashed his family, repeatedly and over an extended period of time? I'm confused.

He's repeatedly trashed his family in books. He's repeatedly trashed his family in multiple interviews. He's repeatedly trashed his family via that awful Netflix rubbish.

He literally cannot be trusted anywhere near his family because the minute they say anything to him he's straight on to the nearest television network to cash in via yet another trashy interview or to spew more bile at them in yet another instalment of Waagh / Funding Freebies etc, No wonder that his brother won't see or speak to him and that any meetings with his father were kept brief.

He breaches their privacy over and over again. He's spent years doing nothing but trash his family at every opportunity for money. Grim. Vile little man. To say nothing of the continual shameless merching on the titles from an institution he and his wife have spent years slagging off every chance they get.

If he has a shred of decency left then he won't say anything about his father's or sister in laws private health information. I don't think he's a decent man though. He's a bitter nasty little twisted man bearing a grudge.

So much hate for him. Ridiculous.

It’s not hate as much as revulsion WHO does this stuff to their own family?? Over and over again - books, interviews and such awful spiteful behaviour.. it’s truly despicable to most people in the UK and the US, and globally.

Harry’s behaviour is abusive and bullying.

Southdweller · 16/02/2024 12:02

Prince Harry hints King's illness will have a "reunifying effect for the family" 😂

Really Hasbeen did you do this with your father in-law and did you wife try this with her own father?

Oh right her dad does not bring in the cash! Pair of grifters. 🙄

It's exactly what he did before the Germany invictus, made a quick dash visit to the Queen and then gave an interview about making sure she was okay. He is nothing if not predictable.

Edited, you already answered xxx

Asked by GMA presenter Will Reeve how the short trip back home was for him 'emotionally', Harry replied: 'Um, look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I'm grateful for that.'
Reeve, the son of late Superman actor Christopher Reeve who was paralysed in 1995, said: 'I've also found in my own life that sort of an illness in the family can have a galvanising or a sort of reunifying effect for a family. Is that possible in this case?'
Speaking in Whistler, Canada, Harry replied: 'Absolutely. Yeah, I'm sure. Throughout all these families I see it on a day-to-day basis, again, the strength of the family unit coming together. I think any illness, any sickness brings families together.'

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 16/02/2024 12:04

He's just awful. What a way to treat people. And he is reminding me more and more of Rory McGrath as he gets older. Which isn't a good thing.

This. He's an abusive bully. The best thing that his family could do is to go NC with him. He's shown himself to be a thoroughly spiteful nasty little man who doesn't care about what he's doing to his family.

Is that a sick joke? ‘Coming together’ as he cashes on selling his family out, no doubt penning spare 2 as he pretends to care. Probably hoping there might be some current ‘’material’ he can utilise. It’s disgusting!

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 16/02/2024 12:09

Is this his first interview about Invictus? Why to US TV? Why not to a Canadian channel, where the games are being hosted, and a country that has intimate ties with royalty?

pinkpale · 16/02/2024 12:12

He is cringeworthy.
How low can he stoop to feel popular.

mrsmingleton · 16/02/2024 12:13

Harry is also due to talk about the possibility of becoming a US citizen, his life with the Duchess of Sussex in California and the Invictus Games during the broadcast. The interview will be aired in full later today from 12pm UK time (7am Eastern).

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 16/02/2024 12:13

Also, since his father wasn't willing to see him for more than a few minutes, Camilla was unlikely to have seen him, his brother didn't see him, nor the recovering SIL who used to be the sister he never had and is now denounced as a racist by his minion Scobie, his cousins Eugenie and Beatrice didn't see him as far as we know, and nobody was willing to put him up, what reconciliation has been achieved exactly? The only bringing together seems to be H&M banding together to cash in on the turmoil.

Oh, I really hope he does! That'll be him out of the counsellors of state at the very least.

Of course commercialising and talking globally about how your estranged father’s diagnosis of cancer is hard for you personally is not at all the kind of behaviour that will justifiably be side-eyed…

I imagine because it is where the $$$$ is that they are courting for their living. Canada not so much.

Samcro · 16/02/2024 11:54

if he is asked why would he not say? of course he can speak about his father.

Are you serious? Can you really not see how inappropriate it would be for someone who has wanged on at length about the nasty medias intrusion to then talk to said media/chat show person about private family medical matters?!

IG need to give him the boot, he is a vacuum of negativity and brings all the wrong kind of attention to those worthy, selfless vets.

break his silence? About what this time?

To break one's silence, it is necessary to shut the hell up for a bit first.

So rather than celebrate Invictus in its first winter games in Canada, celebrate Canadians, celebrate the money Canada has poured into the project, he's going to chat to the US about the US. That's just grand.

"I love my family", so maybe now he can deny that his apparently much loved SIL and father are the racists they have been portrayed as by Meghan and the minion Scobie, rather than let them suffer through serious illnesses with that accusation hanging over their heads and adding to their stress levels, high stress not being good for the health and all.
