New Sussex website

So I see there is a brand-new Duke and Duchess of Sussex website. Very glossy.

But the self-aggrandising! I just read Meghan’s bio and - cringe - it was the worst of LinkedIn. Sometimes less is more!

God that site is awful.
Meghan's bio is much longer than Harry's. She, of course, is more important (in her eyes).
Harry can't say much more about himself without referencing his family and he doesn't want to do that.
Doesn't stop them from mentioning 'prince', 'princess', 'duchess', numerous times with no reference to how they got these titles.
Its utter cringe.
What is the purpose of this site? They've already got two other sites.

One of their “ camp” is hitting back saying that Sussex is their family name so they can use it . I thought the family name was Mountbatten- Windsor ?

I agree with the PP who reckons they'll end up doing an Osbourne / Kardashian type show out of desperation. Or maybe they'll do reality tv. I'd pay to see Meghan eating alligator dick on I'm a celebrity....

Americans are sick of them. South Park got it spot on. I bet they were / still are furious about that episode but that's how most Americans see them.

They really are in a right old muddle. Four years down the line they shouldn't be in this position of "upselling" themselves with new websites and talked up blurb of their backgrounds and mission statements.

This should all be evident to see from their actions of the last four years. But unfortunately instead of laying the foundations for a future they (or especially Harry) have spent too long focusing on the past and trashing the RF which as we all know is their only real selling point.

The magic and stardust of being royal has faded significantly with the unedifying spectacle of dishing the dirt, without moving forward of gaining anything significant in their own right.

It's another PR disaster. They shouldn't be having to upsell themselves. It smacks of desperation. Their brand should have been positive by now and buoyant with people clamouring at their door to be part of it, not the other way round. They are going to run out of road, and money, at this rate. Their PR has been one disaster after the next.

I read that too. That source doesn't seem to realise that Sussex is an honorary title gifted by the Queen which can theoretically be taken back,

I wish I could give them advice. I’d tell them to move back to the UK, live somewhere modest-ish, keep their heads down, pick ONE thing to focus on and work really hard at it.

The whole thing reads like it’s been written by a not very literate 14 year old.

That was my thoughts too. They don’t seem to curate or add much content to their already existing sites (I realise SussexRoyal is all but defunct, which begs the question, why is it still there?)

The only thing they actually work hard at is self promotion ... embarrassingly hard!! PH needs to return for his mental health, he's followed her lead too long and he's losing his family in the same way she threw her own family away ... it's one of the white elephants that are part of the herd they've garnered along their wretched pathway

In other words they don't want to give money but they'll hold peoples hands and smile for the camera, as soon as the camera goes they'll drop those hands like stones and jump onto another bandwagon of somebody else's hard work

I don't think they'll move back to the UK - but have seen concerns express they just can't afford their lifestyle - all the usual talking head were saying RF is worried they'll expect a handout - but given the huge amount Harry inherited it's hard to feel much sympathy.
