New Sussex website

So I see there is a brand-new Duke and Duchess of Sussex website. Very glossy.

But the self-aggrandising! I just read Meghan’s bio and - cringe - it was the worst of LinkedIn. Sometimes less is more!

If I was advising them I’d tell them to shut down the website, move back to Britain, live quietly in Sussex and go to local school sports days and nativity plays and just Wait It Out.

But they won’t do that because they are grandiose, petulant, lazy and attention seeking and so so so entitled.

See they cant win, if there titles aren't taken away people complain, if they tskr it away people complain.

They could win. They could shut up, stop claiming royal connection (to make money) after they chose to walk away, and do some real work. That would be a win.

It's probably a good time to launch it, with Charles being out of commission and others distracted.

No one is disputing Harry is royal or Charles son. No one wants to remove that, the stripping of titles desire is different and is for two reasons, to stop them monetising the fact harry is royal for their own personal gain, and secondly due to the damage they have attempted to inflict on the royal family.

no one rebrands something successful. All this tells us is archewell has no traction and has failed. Sadly for them they have felt they now need to move back to monetising the royal connections, this new website Sussex .com is all but Sussex royal . They simply dropped the royal part.its back to square one. What they planned when they left and the queen said no to.

i also think this is going to be one of their most spectacular own goals. They are now trying to position themselves as royals for hire as they have failed on the commercial front very spectacularly, so clearly trying to see if being royal can get them more gigs.

It also shows just how bad things are now. They know full well the royals put a stop to them monetising the Sussex royal brand for personal gain. So they went down the archewell route. Now 5 years later they are pretty much doing it anyway. The website is the Sussex royal one refreshed. They will be banking on the royals not stopping it. But they will know how horrified the royal family will be by this refreshed attempt at commercialising their titles for personal gain.

I am not a Constitutional expert but I am surprised they are allowed to use their coat of arms ? Wasn’t part of the Sandringham agreement that they didn’t monetise their titles ?
Poor Charles . Dealing with his cancer ,his daughter - in- law’s illness and now H and M do this ! It is so distasteful also so desperate.

Also according to X, their new rebranding is in response to Earthshot showing an extremely healthy and successful financial position with very generous donations.

Apparently it is Meghan's Coat of Arms, it's not their family one and it's not Harry's, I don't know how true that is as I don't know anything about personal Coat of Arms, but I read it on 'X'. 😏

I think they are allowed to use it as such, as in it wasn’t specifically banned, it was royal and hrh that was a specific no. I guess they didn’t think they’d use the coat of arms if they couldn’t use the rest. But I think they are allowed to use their personal coats of arms as harry is the som of a monarch.

I am just a bit gobsmacked that they are so desperately hanging on to their Rotal connections given how utterly miserable they were during Meghan’s blink-and-you-miss-it time as a working Royal and Harry’s years of Hell as the spare .

This is going to be an ongoing problem going forward with how the Royal Family develops

Harry and Meghan have taken their titles and are trying to set up court in America with all the trimmings and there is nothing to stop them

Maybe it isn’t a problem if they just toed the line and stopped trying to damage the monarchy and in turn the U.K. reputation is soiled

I think ultimately they will pretty much get what they want and Charles will be blackmailed into supporting them

The role of the future monarch’s siblings needs to be thought out more carefully in future

Why are they still using royal titles if they no longer wish to be part of the royal family? Surely you give it all up when you leave? Hopefully William won’t be long in stripping them of their titles when he ascends.

@Lockupyourbiscuits Charles may well end up supporting them as he loves his son however he loves his wife and am sure was deeply hurt and angry about the stuff Harry said about her . As for William , I suspect he will cut him off completely when he ascends the throne.
