Why on earth was @Maireas deleted?

wildernesssw · 16/02/2024 17:10

No idea?! Just referred to the year of the Tampax conversation I think?

I mentioned the T conversation between C and C.

I know and just mentioned the possible date. Nothing controversial at all. Makes no sense.

Ah well, moving on - apparently the late Queen's favourite Sunday afternoon snack was cheese on toast while watching TV! What cheese do we think 🤔?

wildernesssw · 16/02/2024 17:52

CHEDDAR!! QE2 was a traditionalist, and wouldn't have had any truck with new fangled 'innovations'!

Maireas · 16/02/2024 17:53

I think Cheddar is a reasonable assumption.

RoyallyRhubarb · 16/02/2024 17:54

A nice Wensleydale. And she would say “cracking cheese, Gromit” every time. My, how the corgis laughed.

wildernesssw · 16/02/2024 17:55

And butter on the toast before applying the Cheddar

Maireas · 16/02/2024 17:56

With English mustard on top.

AliceOlive · 16/02/2024 17:58

Double Gloucester.

Double Gloucester.

A tribute to her cousin 😁

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 16/02/2024 18:03

I just looked up "royal cheese" and apparently that's a type of cannabis! Hopefully she didn't have any of that sprinkled on her toastie!

Anyway, I'm thinking maybe a nice bit of Cornish Yarg hand churned by Charles.

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 16/02/2024 18:06

I had Calabrian goats cheese on toast for lunch today. Surprisingly nice, actually. Also like melted stilton cheese and sautéed mushrooms on toast or melted brie and roast tomato. Melted Cheddar on toast must be served with red onion for me, I know that's a bit controversial around these parts

Maireas · 16/02/2024 18:06

😧are we talking about QE2, or Harry?!?

ArcaneWireless · 16/02/2024 18:06

‘I love my family’

What a funny way he has had of showing it.

yer butter doesn’t melt pish works not

And apparently gossip says M has reached out to K to make things better.

You would not blame K for being happy to be waity for years on this occasion.

Anyway. Work beckons.

Maireas · 16/02/2024 18:06

😧are we talking about QE2, or Harry?!?

Well, I did think that's probably his garnish of choice on a toastie!

wildernesssw · 16/02/2024 18:08

English mustard - yes

Red Leicester - well, occasionally maybe, just to be a bit wild and crazy.

Red onions???? Are you a Communist????

wildernesssw · 16/02/2024 18:10

As for goats cheese @Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar well, if you want to get all effeminate metropolitan liberal elite, you go for it...

Just don't expect to get MY approval...

wildernesssw · 16/02/2024 18:10

RED onions! Honestly!
