Does anyone know where Prince William is?

Errrrr….. where’s Willy? The press focus in the past 24 hours has been perplexing. King Charles’ diagnostic has been the top item, of course. But, bizarrely, the 2nd item has almost invariably been… Prince Harry this and that and the other. Prince HARRY??? What’s with the obsession with him? This should be about Prince WILLIAM! Yet from/about him, absolute silence. What on Earth is going on?

And please don’t start with the “he has to be at his wife’s bedside”. If Harry The Not Next In Line To The Throne And Not Counsellor of State And Can’t Stand In For The King etc etc can fly all the way from Montecito, then William The next King and He Who Should Stand In For King Charles can go visit his Dad in hospital (did he?), rush to be by his dad’s bedside (did he?), make announcements about which official duties he will take up, etc etc.

I know Prince Harry is the one the media are addicted to writing about and slagging off to drive clicks, but can they (and so many on these boards) perhaps take a break from their unhealthy obsession with H (&M) and keep the spotlight where most would expect it to be, on King Charles and, in particular, his successor Prince William?

[Title should read does anyone know...]

Doesn't take much mind!

Might be me, I'm running on fumes today so I could have posted a wall of waffle.

All I meant is there are certain posters on here who display massive double standards, feel they can say whatever they like and the moment anyone challenges or even simply asks for clarification, they play the victim and try to shut the conversation down.

jeffgoldblum · 11/02/2024 12:52

Ahh no worries @RocketsMagnificent7 !!
I'm with you now ! , although I am easily confused 🤣🤣

ArcaneWireless · 11/02/2024 12:53

I haven’t lived in the US.

I’ve seen body parts.

I know cheese. Though not spray or velveeta.

And I’ll bet if I undertook regression therapy, I might have had a prostate.

Or the plague.

No , no @AliceOlive , we need you ! , your US cheese knowledge is invaluable, and you are a real forthright American!

Oh good. I was worried.

@ArcaneWireless why are you trying to recreate velveeta? I might be able to help even though it is impossible.

Poor Charles, with his swollen nethers and starting the cancer treatment. I swear some people would only be happy if he travelled by donkey.

Just waiting for the “ what about the poor donkey ?? Clearly Charles should have walked , after all it was only 100 miles and some posters have to walk that daily to the shops !

jeffgoldblum · 11/02/2024 13:00

With no shoes while being beaten with a hickory stick no doubt @Mylovelygreendress !

They sure do. In that exact part of Norfolk.

Alice

They saw a burger in a bap with a hole through it filled with cheesy goodness (using the v word) that serves to dip chips 🍟 into. On one of the food channels. I taped it ages ago so am going to try to do it.

I’m not at home so can’t be more specific just now but I will say later.

and in the spirit of all things Royal, I bet it would be fine for a recuperative candlelit supper in front of the tv.

wildernesssw · 11/02/2024 13:03

Walk? How dare he?

Walking is to good for the likes of him.

He should have crawled on hands and knees...

Maireas · 11/02/2024 13:05

Crawled on his hands and knees? Too good for him. He should be dragged along by his ankles through all the ditches and mud.

That is a work of culinary genius.
If anyone can recreate that - you can 🍔

Not velveta but from Amazon, when you could actually get American stuff sent here, I got what looked like a huge block of dairy Lea!!!😜 , it was a blue coloured box and was called Kraft cheese I think 🤔?
Any idea what it was @AliceOlive ?

ArcaneWireless · 11/02/2024 13:10

All I remember was that they used American cheese which looking at it, and I have no knowledge whatsoever on it, looked like the Velveeta stuff.

Any help gratefully received. I’ve found a couple of recipes so am ever so slightly hopeful.

I managed a passable version of various takeaway stuff (butter chicken is legendary now!) during lockdown. I loved to try to make folk happy when cravings arose.

Maireas · 11/02/2024 13:12

We buy Dairylea spread, but I don't know if you can cook with it? I suppose some sort of cheesy bechamel sauce would be a solution.

ArcaneWireless · 11/02/2024 13:13

That will be my go to if I’m unsuccessful maireas 👩🏽‍🍳

wildernesssw · 11/02/2024 13:13

Something along these lines might just be acceptable. But it's borderline...

ArcaneWireless · 11/02/2024 13:14

Only if the tow rope is attached to his plums wilderness ….

jeffgoldblum · 11/02/2024 13:15

@ArcaneWireless , it may not be the same but that looks like the nacho cheese sold on Amazon in tins and jars???
I had some called queso something? It had chilli 🌶️ in it was fabulous ( I actually made macaroni cheese with it! 😳)
I love filthy food!

wildernesssw · 11/02/2024 13:16

I would make beer cheese for the burger. Give me a minute and I’ll get you an old-timey, right out of Kentucky recipe.
