GT was asked who texted Meghan to ask her to come to the Golden Globes. We don’t have her number as an answer is snarky in my opinion. I’m sure someone has been in touch, I wish she could have joined us, a shame she was busy - any number of more gracious answers. In my opinion.
Sorry, but I just don't see what was so awful about what she said. It seemed quite diplomatic to me. We don't know what has gone on between them. It's possible that they wanted her to join them but she made diva demands or thought she was too good to be part of an ensemble appearance. This is just a guess, in case someone comes demanding 'evidence'.
But what luck for the other cast members that it happened, and in my opinion they should have a little humility that it is not their acting, the writing or the production that has made Suits popular enough to merit them being catapulted to the Golden Globes carpet and lots of buzz created about a reboot, and maybe think about that before speaking.
Again, I think you massively overrate Meghan's importance. As I said above, she hasn't made a success of anything not royal related since finding freedom. Meghan doesn't seem to be involved in any potential reboot, so not sure how she could be contributing to the 'buzz'.
And while I agree, as said above, that her name may have created free publicity for the series, that's not why people watched it. There was the lack of new content, as we mentioned, and also I read a discussion recently about how young people are increasingly turning to older, long running series, and have grown tired of the Netflix model of cancelling shows after one or two series. Suits will have benefitted from this, with or without Meghan.
