Part 3 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports. h/t @queentim for the original threads.

I really liked this outfit and the way the skirt flowed as she walked - really good choice and quite pared back compared to some other people on the red carpet.

I bought this in Monsoon sale for £48 and I love it! I bought it in a sort of dark grey with a touch of navy and it's very soft boucle, lined.

Wendell Pierce, Meghan's Rachel Zane's dad in Suits, recently had this to say about her (from People).

So sweet! 🤗

"Before she married Prince Harry in May 2018, Meghan starred in the hit legal drama Suits for seven seasons on USA Network and Pierce played the father of her character, Rachel Zane. In the sit-down, host Chris Wallace asked his guest if he was in touch with the Duchess of Sussex, 42, and Pierce shared an anecdote about their last time working together.

“It was the last night of working and I said, ‘Meghan, your life is going to change, and you're going to be in a bubble, but just always remember, no matter what, I'm your friend, you have lots of friends. We're always thinking about you, we’ll always be there for you. And you know, no matter where you are, always know you have a friend in me,’ ” Pierce said.

Elsewhere in the episode, Wallace asked what Meghan is like an “actress” and “person.”
“She’s wonderful. She's wonderful as both. She's the nicest person ever,” said Pierce, who stars in the upcoming CBS drama Elsbeth. “And I actually, the one thing that bothers me the most right now for Meghan is the fact that I know she would love to act again.”

Suits has been SUCH a success story - it's broken all records to become THE most streamed TV show in 2023, with 58 billion minutes watched by subscription - un - freaken - believable!

No small thanks to Meghan, of course... and it's an excellent show so well done all around!

So looks like they are not in touch as he didn’t answer the Q but provided a diversionary anecdote instead......which is very gracious and flattering.

I suspect MM was an excellent team player whilst she was climbing the tree.

True. Totally consistent with all of the other Suits cast members who have all side-stepped the uncomfortable Q about when they were last in contact with MM ....

You are obviously in the know. I'm not and don't forensically examine anything that anyone who has breathed the same air as Meghan...says.

It may surprise some how Meghan's friends are so positive and complimenting about her.

She's been besties with her Suits co-star Abigail Spencer for YEARS!

Each and every Suits cast member has consistently had nothing but warm words for her, from Patrick J Adams to Wendell Pierce to Sarah Rafferty to Gina Torres etc... it's been absolutely HILARIOUS to see how the usual bad-mouthing media have tried as hard as they could to twist the words of the Suits cast to spin a fictional narrative about how "awful beast Meghan who falls out with everyone has fallen out with the Suits cast too".

Pathetically ridiculous, and convincing no-one!

What’s interesting about Spencer’s revelation is that she might be the only cast member who has Meghan’s updated number. Gina Torres told Varietyin early January that the Duchess of Sussex was not involved in the Suits‘ cast group chat. They had spent considerable time over the summer “texting each other” to discuss the success of the show on Netflix and Peacock without Meghan. “We don’t have her number,” Torres explained. “We just don’t. So she’ll see, she’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”

What that some MIGHT NOT have her number but it's not a fact though. Simply a don't know if they do or don't. Since noone knows for sure no conclusion can be drawn from it as to whether they are or aren't in touch.

I was referring to the first part of the sentence where Spencer said she was in contact but might not be with others...

And who is in that whatsup group chat it says Suits caste but is everyone really in it? Obviously not since Meghan isn't, so else isnt. So thats contriction 1.

Contradiction 2 is what Torres says ..well Spencer has her number so it not true to say that none of the caste members have it.

I can read just fine thanks and that contradiction is enough to tell me not everyone has her number some might not and clearly others do
