I don't get all this Gif stuff... what's it to do with the thread? Who is a bride?

I don’t really understand why the anti-Kate brigade are demanding to know what is wrong with her. On the one hand they say they aren’t interested in the rf and the next they want all the gory details.

From some posters (especially the “made a bride cry!” variety) there is an unpleasant unwritten undertone of wanting something very serious to be up with her.

I am no Meghan fan but I cannot imagine crawling over her medical details or wishing her ill. There are some people who need to do some self-reflection and realise that cruelty and bile ain’t good looks.

@MaturingCheeseball No idea who you are referring to. I, personally, don't want to know what the matter with Kate is, it's her business.
And who on earth would want something serious to be wrong with her? That's just not human. I have said more than once, I am glad she's at home and seeing her children and convalescing and hope all is well.

p.s. This is nothing to do with Meghan despite you trying to draw parallels. But to add to that, some posters on MN were really nasty when she had a miscarriage, if you want to draw that parallel.

Exactly! There's a viciousness in some posts which would get them deleted if they were about Meghan. Hey ho.

If I knew nothing at all about the PoWess, I'd take her side just because of the horrible things posted here on the basis of hearsay and gossip at best. None of us knows what happened at that fateful dress-fitting...but one thing I do know: the PoWess can't answer back to the allegations.

That'll be me then and yes! I thought it was really obvious that it was in response to my comment: why is making a bride cry so much worse than making any other human being cry? Eg "Oh no! She made a mother cry!" The status doesn't matter. I just felt it was a silly use of words.
