Poor Kate, hope she's ok.

I love the disguises to buy forbidden reading matter. No-one would spot you buying the Daily Mail dressed as Audrey, Arcane!

ArcaneWireless · 17/01/2024 15:19

I have no doubt there is an element of truth to all the stories which are touted.

We have, as I’ve said before, no real idea of what is actually true though as we don’t know these people from an egg.

It is just that sometimes it can be hard to keep being heard when you have not always spoken plainly or indeed been entirely truthful - whether that be by wording things ambiguously or are the only ones with the stage. and know that your your truth Is likely to be the only one out there. @Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar

This has been brought to the fore once more by the publication of this new book with a slightly different recollection of events. Besmirching all round. Again.

Whatever the circumstances, it could all have been avoided by just paying homage with the use of Lili. Itself a beautiful name. More so when that is what she is to be known as anyway.

As I said before, they went with Archie instead of Archibald aka Archie. Why not just the beautiful name of Lili?

Recommend you don't look at the thread about Catherine. The anti C(&W) brigade have found an outlet for their anger.

Mishal Hussain was most displeased that she'd been accused of being part of a fake interview. She believed it to have been genuine from the start.

Perhaps the Sussexes were not aware that she is a highly respected and serious journalist, not some Heat magazine hack you can throw shade at and disavow.

ArcaneWireless · 17/01/2024 15:30

@Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar

to claim that the BBC "staged" their engagement interview with Mishal Hussein and that is was "rehearsed" and that they were prevented from telling their story because that's not what the BBC wanted.

Apologies - it has been a while. Did they ever say what they actually wanted to say?

I imagine that it would be prudent to give a ‘pretty’ version of events for such an announcement. It is just a proclamation of intent to marry isn’t it?

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 17/01/2024 15:31

Jesus, news now announcing that the King is seeking treatment for an enlarged prostate.

Oh they’re not kidding. But it isn’t a surprise.

honestly I’m at the stage I believe the stories about Harry and Megan, as they usually seem plausible, but I simply don’t believe anything Harry and Megan put out..we sought permission, the palace cut me off financially and left us destitute,, we are going to sign for Dior, there was a high speed car chase.

Anything they have leaked or say now I just think it’s a pile of made up bollocks.

Well hopefully he will be ok too.

It affects many men. Hopefully it will prompt some to get themselves checked.

If the announcement is true, it’s benign it’s routine surgery and no big deal.

Benign prostate enlargement

Read about benign prostate enlargement (BPE), also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which is a common condition in men over 50 years of age.

William is going to be busy.

ArcaneWireless · 17/01/2024 15:39

Fair enough Fraser 😁

But they may have discussed the name. Maybe just not specifically that one.

They may feel as though they are now penniless - in comparison.

They were in a car…

Elements.

I'll link this (DAILY MAIL - HA!) article for speed, as the thread is filling up. The account of the marriage proposal between the interview and the Netflix doc were somewhat different.

(edited to say proposal not engagement)
