I guess you could argue that Harry and Megan are as anti monarchy as it gets,not many have attempted to reek as much damage as they have.

but I guess if you were there at the premier , you would wonder why they had flown so far, bringing staff , their assistant is clearly visible in the images, and likely on a private jet, I mean that skirt of Megans was not going commercial (😂) and no images of them on a commercial jet, just to attend a film premier they have no link to, it’s a long way to go.

it’s clearly something to do with paramount, but they took the attention from the actual stars and became all about them randomly fronting up and Megan having had facial surgery. I guess it did give a visibility to the movie though

potnetially lots of folks were invited to give it oxygen and they were the only well known ones to front up,

I thought Inskip got married in 2017 or is this a second wedding?

He got married a few years ago and it was in Jamaica .
Meghan’s first wedding was also in Jamaica.

I think the poster has got confused as some of the photos of the film premier have been shown next to one of the Sussexes at Tom (not Guy) Inskip’s wedding in 2017 😆

edited to add that Harry has since fallen out with Tom, so even if Tom did get married again, I doubt Harry would go 😂😂

Was the Inskip Jamaica wedding in 2017 the one it was heavily rumoured she'd crashed? I read she was meant to go as Harry's +1 but they broke up - then she turned up anyway. I remember pictures of them sitting at a table looking miserable and Meghan arguing with a waiter.

Exactly right @Lunde . There were photos at the time where Meghan was glaring at a woman Harry was talking to and another where she was clearly remonstrating with a waiter. Harry didn’t look too happy.
Tom was one of the friends who urged him to slow down with the romance . He was at the wedding ceremony but not invited to the evening do and was allegedly very hurt .

Yeah, you’re right, just had a look. She was clearly in it to win it. Blimey.

just how many people did advise Harry to slow down , it seems like everyone close to him and who cared about him, sounded the alarm bell

and he’s now so isolated, and lost nearly all , or indeed all, of his friends, but he is responsible for that, he was a grown man who made his own decisions.

After South Park , Grifters , the bad press from the aviation award -NYC car chase - lack of new contracts- Archwell donors dwindling - no big invites or birthday bashes ( including Obama) shown up to be liars ( 2 court cases now - the finding freedom involvement for Meghan and the Security payment lie for Harry ) - just a sample of setbacks

one positive thing you can say is they aren’t quitters and keep steamrollering on . Meghan in particular looks beaming at the Jamaica premiere ( maybe an element of sticking it to the RF helped the beaming smile )
Most people would have thrown the towel in by now with the amount of stress !

It's very sad how Harry appears to have lost his entire group of longstanding friends since meeting Meghan. I can't imagine a circumstance in which I would drop my close friends for a partner.

He hasn’t though, he’s been pictured with Nicky Scott in Montecito and at the last Invictus Games. There were also pics with Charlie van Straubenzee in LA (bike riding I think).

I'm sure there’s more we don’t see, not sure why people deal in such absolutes when it comes to H&M.

He prioritised his relationship with Megan over his whole family and all his friends, his choice, and he’s not the first to do it. We see multiple posts from women on here who do it and find themselves isolated.

it does seem though his friends didn’t take to her nor she them. but she seems to have shed all her friends too, so..

H&M smile because despite certain narratives, they are doing just fine.

It was sad and almost amusing reading the list of perceived failures, whatever will they do about not being invited to a birthday party? A party just months after she gave birth and on Meghan’s own birthday too, why wouldn’t she want to spend it with her newborn and family.

i’m sure they can handle Southpark and being called grifters. William and Kate were parodied sticking hands up bums and it didn’t kill them. Kanye, J Lo and Tom Cruise, they’ve all lived it survived.

the car chase statement was awful and I hope they’ve learnt from that.

Financially, I believe they are set for life. Especially after the success of Spare - his advance and royalties, the signing bonus from Netflix, public speaking - she was most requested on their site for a while etc

It appears they are building a lovely community in Montecito. Ellen with the cute chicken adoption the other week. I saw in People mag that they were invited to the Bob Marley premiere by Paramount CEO who they are friendly with, they also reside in Montecito.

Well ok, nearly all, but Nicky Scott was a school friend he got back in touch with, and with Charlie, that was nearly two years ago..

This is just not true. Isn’t he still close with Eugenie? Was he not chatting with Beatrice’s husband at the Coronation?

Meghan was sat nearby Nicky and his daughter at Invictus Games, chatting.

How has she shed all her friends?

They were on holiday with Heather Dorak in Costa Rica last December. And in Wyoming the year before for 4th of July.

we also saw Heathers husband with Harry when he want to F1, so there is some mingling.

They were pictured with Genevieve and her husband on the 4th of July parade, videos from one of the parade organisers where they were all pictured as a group.

these are 10 yr plus friendships.

As I said just because you don’t see these friendships doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

we hardly see other royals with close friends, doesn’t mean they dont have them.

If I hadn’t watched the docuseries, I wouldn’t have known certain people were in their lives.

I really don’t think it’s a case of his mates are going out there and no one knows, for the simple reason most of them have spoken out against what’s occurred, they have effectively sided with the royals. You need to remember these families are all intertwined, and many are friends wirh William too.

yes he remained close to Eugenie but since he alluded to her father being a sex criminal in spare, I’m not sure that’s survived.

it’s interesting that you’ve gone from Harry dropping them, to them choosing the royals (which they have every right to do).

if they’ve sided with the royals, Harry will have to deal with that.

Re Eugenie, if the Telegraph is to be believed they may have seen each other after IG23, H&M were in their neighbourhood in Portugal allegedly, no confirmation tho.

I think you are mistaking me with someone else. I never said he dropped them, I said he prioritised his relartionship over his friends , and that he has lost a lot of friends in the process.

we will however need to disagree, my opinion that he has lost a lot of friends in this process, and with his claims, and prioritised his relationship with Megan, and is now quite isolated stands. You feel his mates are all still close and it’s just behind the scenes so no one knows, and they are all popping over there, fair enough. We will agree to disagree.
