Not sure if this link will work but in case it doesn't I have copied what now seems a very relevant statement. So much jealousy apparent even then.

In the introduction to a blog entry where she interviewed Princess Alia Al Senussi, a descendent of Libyan royalty who works in the art world, Meghan mentioned that as a child she loved tough princesses like She-Ra from the ’80s cartoon, She-Ra: Princess of Power. She also mentioned that the idea of a “princess” still exerts power on adults too. “Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy,” she wrote. “Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate.”

Has any publication actually written something in support of H&M since Endgame?

I've had a quick look but can't see.

I have had a couple of family members since 2020 who died in their 90s.

Both (one in her own home, one in a care home) loved to welcome younger members of their family who visited, loved to hear what we had been up to, and shared family reminisces (especially welcome when they told embarassing stories about our parents as children 😂)

If they had then heard we were coming with a string of complaints about our parent/sibling, and expect them to DO SOMETHING, I suspect that they would have found a medical appointment to put us off!

Was this linked here already? Quite a bit of detail I have not seen before about the early years. Now this is definitely coming from inside and maybe its about time.

I agree! There is a widely shared photo of Scobie and MM on a yacht in Cannes from 2012, when he was dating her friend, Markus Anderson, who ran Soho House. You have to wonder whether Scobie had a hand in encouraging her pursuit of PH for his own personal endgame...

Yes, I can quite believe that they probably were the Queen's instructions, and designed to protect herself from ever having to have a real life conversation with someone in the family discussing branding and money.

The whole of the monarchy's access to the loot depends on the monarch projecting the image of 'custodian', not 'user'.

There would be great danger for a monarch in being party to such an under-developed conversation about branding and money that could be reported back to, well, anyone.

She wasn't stupid.

Interesting, especially when considering that Carole Middleton and POW have taken endless classist based sneering over the years for being so “pushy” and apparently planning Catherine’s pursuit of William for years, complete with spiteful associated nicknames - the most recent of which allegedly created by DOS. Plots and pursuits hatched by pissed up private club members/employees to hook the remaining royal prince are just fine though?

I was just reading about how upset - understandably - Sophie is about being called a "casual bigot" in the book. What on earth has she ever done to them?

To be fair, I don’t think that’s actually Meghan in that photo. It’s been speculated it’s her, but I don’t think it looks much like her in terms of the face shape.

True. I wouldn't be able to tell who it was tbh.

Her shape of face has changed if you look at old photos of her.

She was asked in an interview about her opinions on the Oprah interview. She replied “Oprah who?” to deflect the question.
Omid says it means that Sophie doesn’t think Oprah is getting the respect that she deserves for being a super successful black woman.

I'm not a lawyer but I would imagine Sophie would have a great legal case if she wanted to sue.

I don't believe the woman in that 2012 picture is MM. I believe he said they did know each other as far back as 2015, when he met her at Toronto Fashion Week.

I think you are probably right, on the other hand I haven't seen much reason to believe his statements on anything much so far.

I think Meghan and Harry have made numerous dishonest (cleverly worded, and therefore making implications that can be endlessly denied) statements since they have been together. There is no need to forge previous connections.

I feel for Sophie, she appears to want to blend into the background. There seems to be a rule that females who marry in are fair game. Luckily Fergie got divorced long ago.
