So who are the 2 royals who commented on Archie's skin now that Piers Morgan has named them on live tv

@Sayitaintso33 then your employer was breaking the law.

CurlewKate · 30/11/2023 11:26

@Sayitaintso33 "
The brief was explicit: 'appoint a black or asian candidate'. There was nothing to misunderstand."

Then the organisation you were recruiting for was operating illegally.

JamSandle · 30/11/2023 11:27

Who cares?

Mikimoto · 30/11/2023 11:27

Wait-y Katie!
I KNEW it!

HikingforScenery · 30/11/2023 11:28

I read the OP only and looked on twitter. There were several comments saying people will find a way to blame Meghan for this. They didn’t lie

CurlewKate · 30/11/2023 11:29

@CocoChanellee The usual vague speculative nonsense. Fair enough.

Katy231 · 30/11/2023 11:29

Lockupyourbiscuits · 30/11/2023 11:17

Perhaps all the comments can be aired
I do find it strange that without any context two people are being casually labelled as Royal Racists

So Harry , who we know called people racial insults , told a black man he didn’t sound black
said about his South African girlfriend -don’t worry she’s not black ( see Guardian for exact wording- I actually think this is the worst ) - he’s just tickety boo 👍👍

Are we in some sort of parallel universe because this doesn't make any sense to me

If Omid wanted to highlight racism in the Royal Family he should have started with Harry’s history of racist outbursts - which incidentally he has never properly apologised for - because he actually thinks marrying Meghan has absolved him of any responsibility- how is that right !!

Edited

You're actually quite right. I think they are probably all racist to some degree and harry was just stupid enough to vocalise it.

mantyzer · 30/11/2023 11:29

@HikingforScenery its always the brown woman's fault. Always.

Roussette · 30/11/2023 11:31

Coco A lot of what you've posted is just made up twaddle. Designed for clickbait.

milveycrohn · 30/11/2023 11:32

@CocoChanellee
"I predict the marriage won't last and eventually H will come home with his tail between his legs."
I hope for the sake of the children, that you are wrong. I also do not believe the marriage will fail, as they have spent so long saying how much in love they are, etc.
However, it does not mean that the marriage will always be a happy one, but their mansion is large enough for them both, I think.

Calgo · 30/11/2023 11:33

It’s still so astonishing that Harry, the man who called someone a P* AND dressed up as a Nazi, has engineered this whole situation.

We know one royal racist for certain.

Twonewcats · 30/11/2023 11:35

CocoChanellee · 30/11/2023 11:24

Have you missed it ?

Gave interviews where the truth was less than the truth.
Said she wasn't given support by the Palace when clearly she was (but she refused some of it.)
Maligned the other Royals who she knows won't go tit for tat to put their side.
Allowed Omid S to write a book full of venom which may or not have any truth.

And by 'allowed' I mean she hasn't come out to say it's untrue, so that suggests she supports his writing.

Thrown a tantrum as the late Queen wouldn't allow her to have a certain tiara for her wedding.

Pretended that Justin Welby had already married them.

Ad nauseum.

and denied contributing to O's book - then admitted IN COURT that she had sent briefing notes to her staff.
She has proved herself to be a liar on a few occasions.
She was very welcomed and loved by the British public at the beginning. The wedding was a great day, and was fully of joy and love. Then THEIR BEHAVIOUR has changed many minds about M&H

mantyzer · 30/11/2023 11:29

@HikingforScenery its always the brown woman's fault. Always.

But if it IS her/their fault, people have a right to say that without it being a race issue.

NonPlayerCharacter · 30/11/2023 11:36

Why do people still think the marriage won't work? Whatever you may think, they seem happy with each other. And with so many bridges burned on both sides, neither is likely to leave even if they wanted to...who else do they have?

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 30/11/2023 11:36

orangeblosssom · 30/11/2023 11:12

King Charles works really hard for the Princes Trust helping minorities.
He seems really decent and apologetic about the racist royal family history- such as colonialism.

Kate- probably racist I suspect.

@orangeblosssom how on earth can you assume that Kate is probably racist?!

Maybe with her upbringing and private school(s) etc she went to she might not have mixed with as many other races as she’d have liked but as an outsider viewing her personality (sporty and outgoing) I’d have guessed she would have met and even been friends with people from other races. We just don’t know.

I’ve actually had new colleagues in a job on my first day jokingly accuse me (I complained about them) of me being a Daily Mail reader because I’m blonde and white (I’m not a daily Mail reader at all and had said nothing at all to give them that impression). The 2 guys making the DM “joke” were a white young gay Australian man (I don’t know he was gay then) and an Anglo Pakistani young man but they were both outspoken. So what I’m saying is others can make totally unfair assumptions on one, based on looks/initial interaction.

I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t invite the Obamas to tea with a picture of a slave on the wall with a plant pot hastily positioned to hide the title.

Namenumber3 · 30/11/2023 11:41

Roussette · 30/11/2023 08:07

Me too. It's gobsmacking.

Its mostly mixed race MNetters from what I can tell actually. The same as Meghan.

billy1966 · 30/11/2023 11:41

Thanks @Emotionalsupportviper for clarification.

I'm largely oblivious, threads like this are such an eye opener.

Whatever the truth in all these anecdotes, families are complicated and other that abuse etc., I think these tensions are best kept private.
I highly value loyalty.

I think the ugliness of all the claims and Andrew's absolutely shocking behaviour and defence, have decimated whatever nostalgic legacy regard many have for the family.

I am now very ambivalent and view them all, as one would view a bit of a tacky circus performance.🤷‍♀️

@Mirabai did Kate and William or King Charles do this?

Yes, of course that’s misjudged and out of order. Should never have happened but did it actually happen?

Izzy54321 · 30/11/2023 11:43

I’ve watched Omid being interviewed this morning even though he keeps saying no where did he write down it was KC and POW, this leads to my questions is the misprint correct and if it isn’t why is Omid not coming out and saying so. Also he must of written it down and he is a liar which has been proven in a court of law previously. If Omid never actually wrote it down anywhere according to him, who the else knew who it was apart from MM, PH and OC? I personally believe this was done to boost the sales of the book. Disgraceful and I hope that the RF sue him.

mantyzer · 30/11/2023 11:43

@Namenumber3 Aye sure they are.

There's pictures of slaves all over the walls. If they truly aren't racist, why don't they just take them down?
