Prince Harry is one thing, but Harry & Meghan routinely refer to themselves in America as the ‘Duke and Duchess’. As I understand it, HMQ gave them those titles upon marriage for use during their lives of ‘royal service’ ahead - something they apps insisted they wanted at the time.

Then they decided they didn’t want the official roles, the responsibilities, or even to live in the U.K. - so to continue using those titles in the States is a bad look, to say the least.

It is a bit weird, such a dysfunctional family that they have to 'escape' and tell the world they have had to escape, and yet... use the titles? for their children as well, after choosing not to use Archie's title when he was born.

Yes the way they announced their children’s titles was very weird. At lest they could have waited for the children to decide at 18, like Sophie and Edward. It came across as hypocritical and a bit grasping.

And in a country that was founded on the rejection of monarchy and titles...

And for Meghan to talk about the importance of being ‘linked not ranked’.

In the royal family they were somebodies. Out of it they are has been nobodies. Much like the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Noses pressed to the glass looking at what they've left. And clinging on to it for dear life. But it's too late now.

No different to Sarah Ferguson then. She's been using her title for decades and not even married to a member of the RF! And hasn't been for 30 years! She used her title in the States for a very long time. Imagine if Meghan was divorced from Harry and in 30 years time writing books under the title Duchess of Sussex!

No one really cares what SF does. She’s a silly woman and everyone knows it. She hasn’t gone on TV to slag the RF or Andrew off, or written books to do so, ghosted or otherwise. She doesn’t have a huge inheritance to live off either. She’s a ridiculous woman but she’s not making headlines everywhere and actively doing damage to the hand that feeds her. She’s always talked about the Queen with huge affection and her husband. Even though it’s hard to understand why she supports him . She’s just a greedy, lazy woman who doesn’t want to get off the gravy train.

I don't think M has any intention of coming back to the UK to live or stay and seems to have found the Hollywood life that suits her. H? Well, I would think he still feels like a fish out of water and wouldn't be that comfortable with the flashbulbs and stardom that energise M. They will find a balance that works for them as a couple and loving parents but making peace with his family seems a long way off and hopefully the new book won't make the situation worse. Maybe, in an ideal world, he'd be able to fly back and forth to catch up with friends and family in the UK but I don't see that happening soon - once trust is broken.....

Believe me, I know no one cares what she does, that's my whole point. She lives off of her title and has done for over 30 years. But no one cares.
