So should I be suspicious of you, and tell you so, because your experience of being a different race to me, is different to my own? It is wrong of you to say or imply someone is lying because their experience of racism is different to your own, especially when you're not the same race as the people you are accusing.

As you say It is an anonymous forum, we could all be Attila the Hun or some spotty faced bored teenager, purporting to be an all knowing and righteous warrior for some cause or other. We only have your written claims about your circumstances and race, same as thats all you have for me and others on here.

Seriously don’t engage - just read her post how about how totally ridiculous it is that innocuous statements can be misinterpreted as racism when there is actual race based violence happening. It’s almost as if there are not frequent episodes of dog whistle antisemitism on this site that happen - I know it because I’ve reported several and and luckily most people understand and are familiar antisemitic dogwhistles that they take them down quickly - less so with anti black racism. And it’s not far from when people follow on from stereotypes and dogwhistles - the violence and the overt discrimination are not far behind as evidenced by my links.

This started because many posters here ascribe to the “bad apples” theory of bad behaviour. This is when it’s the bad people over there in their tiny numbers who are responsible for bad things and doesn’t look at systems that perpetuate injustices, treats racist incidents as isolated acts which makes things look less pervasive to many and ignores unintentional biases (for example do you know women are more likely to be killed in car accidents than men because crash test manikins tend to be based on male bodies or infrared sensors not being calibrated to sense when a skin with more melanin is waving in front of it - like for those automated taps or other more serious things in healthcare) - this actually stops any work on actually fixing the problem.

Thank you… they actually went right past my brother’s house. Nobody was even prosecuted for it. It’s horrible sometimes. That’s why it’s so upsetting when it gets trivialised. Fortunately most people are decent and the extremists really are just a small minority of thugs.

He’s an author, executive producer and chief impact officer who in his role as a working member of the Royal Family became patron of WellChild. When he stepped down from these as a working member he was asked to remain as patron.

It was shocking, @themessygarden - basically men in cars driving around a Jewish area, issuing death threats to all Jews, and rape threats to the women. No prosecutions.
