Recently spotted at a TSwift (allegedly), Barbie movie for her birthday, a restaurant, and then hanging out with friends in an Instagram selfie. She looks phenomenal in this photo!

Glad to see she's enjoying her life back home with her family.

Tied in but banning certain media outlets is so petty. If they’d just done the engagement with none of the drama, no petty moves, no trying to start a fight, there would just have been fairly boring but nice articles in the tabloids. This is also within the context of the new danger of the rich and powerful going after journalism. The DM would have turned up, took some photos, done a fairly bland write up… they would not have been going “through the bins” as it were and digging up things that make them look so bad. And on top of that, lying to them about why they were excluded. They can’t seriously expect glowing coverage if they are messing journalists around and deceiving them. They are also making the massive mistake that journalists don’t defend journalists. If the outlets that were permitted perceive it as a threat, they can’t necessarily expect coverage from them in future either.

No. This is just wrong on so many levels! I don’t know where to start! I couldn’t disagree more.
Stuff the British tabloids. After smearing and dehumanising her for years and leading her to have thoughts of harming herself whilst pregnant, you think she should pander to them?! They will never report on her fairly. Meghan and Harry accept this. I think it’s great that they banned those publications. They owe them nothing! Serves them bloody right. There are consequences to constant unfair and biased reporting and damn right lies. Why would they want to work with DF after the court case which they felt contributed to her miscarriage? They can ban who they like. The tabloids don’t get to hold people to ransom.

Well I don’t appreciate being called “controlling”, I am giving my view as everyone is. I disagree with your assessment of the coverage, it was overwhelmingly good at the beginning, then mixed as the honeymoon period wore off, and now they still get good coverage when they do good things. It really isn’t rocket science. The book reading was an easy win which they turned into another battle for zero gains.

When you have the DM writing 26 articles in one 24 hour period and just about all those articles having headlines designed as clickbait to dehumanise Meghan... you honestly think that the DM would turn up and play nice? Why do you think this? They never have in the past and Meghan won a court case against them. They would go into overdrive to smear her. And it would be day after day, variations of anything they could say to insult her. And him. They run poll after poll after poll firing up their stupid readers to demand Harry gives up his titles, vote Meghan is more unpopular than ever, H&M should apologise blah blah. I googled Daily Mail H&M polls and there were pages of this crap. Yet you think they should be invited and they would write 'boring but nice articles'. I can't believe this.

it’s awful to lose a much wanted child , but it’s not the Daily mails fault.

Stating that if Meghan and Harry would have just let the British tabloids in and then negative articles wouldn't be written about them is the definition of abusive controlling behaviour for a group not getting what they want.

Yes it is, and it isn;t the first time. Its tedious and wrong.

It’s also removing context from what happened. H&M had left the year prior and consistently been subject to repeated bad faith reporting from British media since. They did not want to engage with them -simple. It’s funny that we’re only hearing about it 2 years later after the fact - because these publications and their journalists are upset they have just found out they were successfully frozen out.
