I actually really liked this video, it’s them doing what they have always done best. I want to see more things like this, hope it marks a change in tactics.

It also has a very “royal” feel: e.g. there have been recent reports about a split but they’re not arguing in the gutter they’re rising above it and proving them wrong, they’re using their spotlight to shine onto other people, etc.

Only criticism: why are they filming people on the phone?! Makes me think of The Apprentice 😂 use Zoom!!

@Iwantcakeeveryday - I'm no fan of the royal family, but they're doing a job to support the country, bring in revenue to the country ... H&M care about themselves only - that's the difference!
They'd have absolutely ripped the guts out of the RF name had they been allowed to do what they wanted to do - all for their own gain. HMQ saw through them ... now they're desperate and look, frankly needy and pathetic

The difference is that William is a working Royal and this sort of stuff is part of his job. H&M reject the RF and refuse to work as Royals yet keep the titles, and are constantly pushing themselves in the media using high powered PR agencies. If they had an ounce of integrity they'd ditch the titles. They want to be celebrities then that how they get treated, comparing them to W&K is a nonsense now. They are more like the Kardashians.

It's funny how Haz complained that he has to pretend smile in royal duties, and now he does exactly that

The thing that feels off to me is that this type of stuff is the job of the RF (PR for charities), whereas how is this H&M's job? It's like they've recreated a royal type role but without anyone paying them for this to be a job?

Actually I think this is a fair comment.

He's still having to 'perform' just like he did when in the RF. This felt just like a RF role, smile and say the right things.

He imagined he could 'escape' all this and be 'free' but has found he just has to keep doing the same types of things and the press are just as intrusive as ever.

He's in a bind:

He doesn't want to be royal
being royal is the only thing he has to offer
He won't let go of the titles
He has to use his royal connections
He wants less pess intrusion
the press as as harsh as ever

He hasn't solved the problem he thought he had.

@Roussette - most people are fed up with the sight of them - the usual crew pop in and defend, attacking comments, but the majority are very fed up with them, even the stats show their popularity is rock bottom . So maybe not just my opinion eh!

I think they need to step away from faux royal activities generally. It makes them look daft.

Another poor PR stunt. They don't add/do anything worthwhile themselves.

Given the wide speculation about their marriage and 'careers pulling them apart', I think they should lay low and concentrate on each other and their kids.

Harry has so much to loose if his marriage breaks down. He will have to stay in America to be close with his kids, where he is a square peg in a round hole. He has done so much 'defending' of Meghan, he doesn't have an identity any more.

He has given up his title, his family, his military connections and his home.

Meghan makes friends easily, retains her acting credentials and has her Mom close by. She will continue to be Meghan whereas Harry will be utterly directionless.
