Why mention the kids for and fuel the controversy? Omid doesn't know what the truth is and is just speculating. This is a crap thing to do and if this was done to the Sussex kids I'm sure you wouldn't try to downplay it or minimize it. The Wales kids are already being dragged into the family fued, thanks in part to harry bringing them up in his publicity tour. And this unofficial Sussex spokesperson is just adding fuel to the fire.

Checked out his twitter and followers months ago and it was positively toxic. He tweeted something about the Wales children then let it ride while people attacked Harry’s own niece and nephews. Not just one thing, I read enough to make it clear he condones whatever is said that is ugly about the entire family.

Ever checked out his Kpop website history? Men like that don’t change, just go underground. He’s making his living off a different type of garbage now.

No, it wasn’t the recent thing with the coronation. It was a while ago. I’m not looking again or trying to dig it up, I saw enough at the time. He intentionally creates space for ugliness and condones it.

I actually think the whole business of royal commentary is distasteful ,relying as it does on conjuncture and speculation. Angela Levin, Tom Bower, and Co are, in my opinion, just vile.

And you call them out for it don't you? So why try to minimize what Omid is doing, especially when he's speculating on the kids being at fault. I've already seen enough Sussex fans calling the Wales kids ugly or calling for their deaths and other sorts of disgusting names, and some have been posted on his own twitter threads. I would think that's worse than speculating on adults.

I reject and condemn speculation about H&M’s marriage. You can find plenty of people that do or say ugly things. It’s your choice if you want to use bad behavior to condone more bad behavior. I choose not to do that.

I completely agree. It’s trashy. I get that it sells, but I never feel good reading it.

It's funny, there's a thread here on William cheating on kate, and also accusations that William is working in kahoots with the British media even if there's no evidence of it. And yet when the same thing is done to the sussexes there's cries of bias and unfairness and racism.

I reject all speculation or discussion of anyone’s marriage. I despise it in conversation about people I know, and about people in the news. I always thought it put a horrible level of pressure on couples to have people doing this.

Also, I just genuinely want people to be happy in the world. Even people I don’t know, even people I don’t understand. Call me a Pollyanna. I don’t think more divorce is a good thing.

As for the Wales kids, @Roussette has consistently spoken about her discomfort with how they are covered in the press, and the roles already assigned to them. A discomfort I happen to share.

There was huge speculation last week about whether George would join the military or be "allowed" not to. He is 10. 10. Let him be a kid for as long as he can!

I tend to stop posting when things get into that level of toxicity. Declining to provide more oxygen seems to work better than reporting it.

Sure - my actual reaction to hearing this was a wry smile because we’ve all been in that situation with children. To be fair I’m always uncomfortable with the children being brought into things so I agree it shouldn’t have been reported if true but now we know it wasn’t and used as a cover for the real reason they were late.

Kids are normally help to be off-limits for negative reporting.

And that continues into young adulthood - so they can make the common mistakes of growing up in private; a policy we now know Harry benefited from, but don't actually know how far it may have benefited any others

But it's false equivalence to compare him with a man who has been accused of phone hacking and faking photos, and with a man currently under investigation for so much unethical conduct it makes my head spin.

Just a reminder - Omid Scobie gave a witness statement in Meghan’s court case claiming she had absolutely nothing to do with his book, which we now know was a flat out lie. And he has lied about his age in an interview. And breached agreed press restrictions on royal reporting. I wouldn’t be quite so quick to defend him.

It is still false equivalence to compare him to Piers Morgan and Dan Wootton. You can call him out for his misdeeds, without comparing him to those two.

He tweeted this about Prince Louis during the Platinum Jubilee concert. Given his twitter following is predominantly the self-described Sussex squad, there followed a lovely series of people tweeting about how Louis was a vile child, must be autistic, have ADHD, needed a good beating, was showing up what a terrible parent Kate was, was making making it clear that William was often violent towards Kate - you name it. Quite a foreseeable response given Omid’s known followers. Anyway, he then deleted it, but was clearly annoyed about having to do do - see his later tweet.

And also, if Omid was any kind of a journalist, he would have been able to identify from the tv coverage of the coronation and the previously published timetable (as other journalists did) that the Wales family arrived at the Abbey when they were supposed to, and the King and Queen arrived early.

There is nothing wrong with those two tweets. There was a lot of commentary, much of it amused and sympathetic, about Louis's behaviour, because well, kids are kids.

Omid did not write any of the abusive things you say appeared under his tweets.

You are holding him to a far higher standard than you hold others.

If you are to hold him accountable for what his followers write under their tweets, do you also hold Kate and William or Charles and Camilla accountable for the severe abuse, including racist attacks, that Meghan and her kids receive under the twitter handles of the royal family?

Given what I said above about how how anyone could track when the Wales family and Charles and Camilla were supposed to arrive at the Abbey against what actually happened, and the fact Kensington Palace’s only comment was that they had arrived when they were supposed to, I’m curious as to why you say you know why they were late now - when they weren’t?
