Those posts occurred in one thread in the space of half a day. It was a frenzy of them. I read them and felt ill. To think women are capable of doing this after all we’ve learned about how it hurts not only the woman criticised, but also other women.
I have never read any of the sort of stuff on your list on MN (sounds more like something over on Tattle), and certainly not within the past 24hrs. I think you were actively digging for the worst examples to prove your point, possibly posts that later got deleted. I think your children should worry more about the fact that you lurk on a Harry & Meghan message board to compile lists of insults that were posted in real time, just to get a moral upper-hand over a small handful of strangers on the internet.
I have no qualms gossiping about a celebrity, because they would never find out and it's always been a huge part of fame culture. It gives people an outlet for silly, idle speculation which fuels the value of the entire industry. I don't stoop to the point of physical insults (pointless really as Meghan is far more polished and beautiful than I could ever be). But the fact that we share the same reproductive organs is pretty irrelevant. By that reasoning I need to blindly support 50% of the entire world's population regardless of their individual personality, character, motives, etc.
