Maybe there will be chapters on how dreadful the Platinum Jubilee and HMQ's funeral were for them. Plus how Harry struggled at the Coronation. They never even let him carry a sword. Heartless.

Impossible. However, who could not look upon her with wonder and joy and say "it's not fair! I want a sword!"?

We're not stupid, we know the book isn't going to be about H&M. But there will be an agenda, and there will be details that only insiders could know.

As for his co-writer, she doesn't plaster herself across the media so she isn't mentioned as much. And, of course, it is Omid who Meghan had to admit she supplied information to, via a courtier.

How does Scobie plaster himself across the media?

I wonder why he was ‘really shocked’ to hear from sources (hours after the event) that no one had been in touch after the near catastrophic paparazzi chase?

@Qbish that's his job! @skullbabe was making the point regarding the book FF and the other author not being referred to or scrutinised about her relationship with them in the same way as he is with regards to it.

How is this different to Valentine Low or Camilla Tominey - both journalists in print and are frequently in interviews, panels and even have shows themselves? All of them are active on social media too. He does no more no less than them.

The other author doesn't seem to see it as her job to keep such a high public profile, so maybe that is why she doesn't get mentioned as often?

If the chase was so shocking, why didn't Harry warn his father and his brother beforehand that the story was coming out and he was fine. That's the normal course of these events, isn't it? After all, Harry was in total control of the narrative and we only new about "the chase" because Harry did a press release. Otherwise the whole world was oblivious it had ever happened.
How does Scobie know he didn't forewarn his dad? Only one person could have provided that information.

But he’s a journalist and a royal correspondent for ABC - he was there as part of his job. It’s even there in the ticker tape at the bottom. Are royal correspondents not allowed to be on camera?

Of course. But the other author isn't a royal correspondent for ABC, and doesn't appear so often in interviews, so isn't mentioned as often. Surely?

The question, as I understand it, was why don't posters refer to the co-author as well as Scobie. The answer being that the co-author doesn't put themselves in the media. Scobie does, including through his job as a royal reporter.

And that's the odd thing. Prince Harry hates "royal reporters". But Meghan feeds this one, and that's OK 🤔

The Daily Mail and the Daily Express posted pictures taken of them during the paparazzi chase first thing in the morning. H&M released a statement specifically saying that publishing pictures that were taken under those circumstances was in bad form. The focus shifted to the chase but very few people remember that on the back of the statement - those pictures were taken down by print media (Mail/Express). (they are still archived on the Wayback machine).
