It is the same impulse that fuelled those horrible school bullies known in every school. Getting off on picking on someone and I just find that more despicable always than the behavior of the person at the end of the bullying, who may have somehow drawn attention to themselves often through things they cannot control. What has she done that is so terrible? Harry is the divulger of all his family's private business not Meghan yet the vitriol is held back for her somehow. It is a dirty business.

👏👏👏

It was reported on by Valentine Low from The Times who had spoken with multiple staff members who were bullied by Meghan and Harry. He also reported on it in his book. He quoted staff members saying they felt sick and afraid after being screamed at.

Odd that if it’s untrue, neither of them have sued over it. They love a lawsuit, those two.

If the bullying was true, then why did the palace hide the findings of their own report on it?

ParklifePenguin · 18/06/2023 21:38

Maybe theynencourage each other? Like bullies do? Theyn don't have the courage individually/

Howsimplywonderful · 18/06/2023 21:41

Some couples seem to bring out the worst in each other.

Rumours of bullying and noticeably high turnover of staff.
Harry talked about staff crying in his book too, it sounds rather unpleasant

making money off the back of H&M with books about how awful they are

Meanwhile H&M make money off the back of the RF (especially William and Charles) with books and interviews about how awful they are.

the irony is strong

Except H&M were discussing their own experiences.
The others are the real third-party grifters, randoms making millions out of other people's lives. There's a huge difference there I'm sure you can understand.

ParklifePenguin · 18/06/2023 21:44

They have aplatform to speak. The people working for them don't

Howsimplywonderful · 18/06/2023 21:46

Bill Simmons I’m sure spoke for all the poor staff silenced by NDA’s

JeandeServiette · 18/06/2023 21:49

If it's true, they've suppressed it to avoid worsening relations with Harry.

If it's not true....well I'm not sure why they'd hush up findings that nobody was bullied, but there could be a reason.

I don't think you can make any absolute conclusion about the silence.

The palace stated it was to protect the privacy of staff members who participated. But if it exonerated Meghan and Harry, they could have called for the report to be released. They haven’t done that, just like they haven’t sued newspapers that published stories about staff being bullied.

googlejourney · 18/06/2023 22:19

If the findings were that the bullying charges were false, H & M (who also received the report) would have released or leaked the findings (or excerpts if it) exonerating them. Their silence and lack of follow up or threats to sue the press reporting on the story etc. is very telling.

I dunno. Didn't Harry say those experiences might not be true? Didn't he say under oath at the trial that he refused to speak to Paul Burrell. But said in his book that he was desperate to speak to Paul Burrell. Both those accounts were written more or less at the same time.
So really he was talking about and repeating conversations of things that he's openly said might not be true without giving the other participants the opportunity to correct his statements.
Sounds like dishonourable behaviour to me.

Tigger1895 · 18/06/2023 22:37

If this is true, the leak came from Dior. H and M definitely don’t leak to the daily fail. However, I think it’s a rumour started by a tabloid, if Dior says it’s untrue or it never happens, the media will claim it’s another fail for them.

I totally understand the point you are making, but I have to disagree

i think they are all making money talking about other people.

And actually, I think talking about your relatives for money is worse than talking about strangers for money.

but these are my personal opinions and Im sure others will have their own opinions.

Howsimplywonderful · 18/06/2023 22:40

This release her agent Ari from WME all over it - especially the bits about how wonderful he is 🤣

Serenster · 18/06/2023 22:47

Everyone tries to read too much into this. It’s just because all the information about every employee, and Meghan and Harry themselves, contained in the report is personal data and private and can’t be disclosed without any of their consent.

HR investigations are always strictly confidential and not released to the public (you are really limited in what you can say about outcomes internally, too). This only changes when things escalate to the Employment Tribunal.

Why assume @Coconutsandpalmtrees or the majority on this thread are English? Far less sad, bitter or jealous?

And yet you're on here all the time, reading comments you don't like. How is that good use of your time? 🤔

I feel that the hate has gone on for so long the majority must be as people seem personally so invested in them. I'm putting it down to that they left the country and people take that personally, nothing else really makes any sense. It's not healthy to hate someone this much that you don't know, in fact it's not healthy to hate anyone this much.
