I've probably garbled that, but that's the gist of it.

Oh lord.

Well, anyway, does anyone know if there will be live tweeting tomorrow? (Hopeful)

There are less flags days now than there were under the late QEII

None would be the ideal 😎

Why?

what is wrong with flying flags on days that celebrate our patron saints, on Commonwealth Day and on Remembrance Day?

it’s been done for decades and you are the only person I’ve ever heard complain about it. It takes a member

as for Royal dates - you are aware that civil servants (the folk that work in those government buildings flying the flag) are also employed by the Crown?

I don't know about Tweets, PicturesOfDogs - don't use Twitter - but Sky are doing live reporting when the court's in session

I believe the Telegraph are too, but not sure if that's behind a paywall?

Thanks!

I don’t usually get days off in the week, so thought I’d try and follow along

Harry shoukd have been there. The judge will be annoyed. But I doubt it will have that much if any impact because the judge has to be fair.

I've just read David Sherbournes statement over Diana's and Barrymores letters. If that's the nature of their evidence, it seems very tenuous. To say the papers only knew about their meeting because they were hacked seems an overstretch loads of people will have been involved and who knows who MB spoke to. To then say that Piers Morgan heard rumours because they were hacked doesn't really follow. Is MB going to be giving evidence? Is there a witness list, does anyone know?

And what does anything about Princess Diana or Michael Barrymore have to do with Harry's claim HE was illegally hacked?

MayQueeen · 05/06/2023 22:36

@ roussette huh? Did I mention you? Who are you? Why are you tagging me? Can random posters who I haven’t even engaged with stop tagging me for attention please - cheers

max de winter - it’s not me that’s gotten a bunch of posts deleted to derail, that’s your style 😂 I like everything to stand - let the whole forum read your nasty comments about ‘jer* circles’

Puzzledandpissedoff · 05/06/2023 22:39

Glad you asked that, MrsF - I'd been wondering myself

It’s not a great start to his court case, his barristers comments were unfortunate that Harry is ‘in a different category’.

How very true.

Harry really is in a different category, he thinks a court should just wait till he’s had a nice snooze.

Howsimplywonderful · 05/06/2023 22:41

@Puzzledandpissedoff

Id been wondering the exact same thing.

MayQueeen · 05/06/2023 22:43

Harry has a habit of centring everything around himself, main character syndrome.

A trait he shares with his rabid fan base.

Does anyone have a trial schedule. Is Harry expected to start giving his evidence tomorrow ?

That is a truly vile post.

TrashyPanda · 05/06/2023 22:50

It would be funny if Harry turned up, but the judge decided to have a long lie in!

Nofixedabodewell · 05/06/2023 22:51

@TrashyPanda please
could you PM me to about the ‘incident’?

MrsFinkelstein · 05/06/2023 22:51

I have to admit I laughed out loud at this reporting in The Guardian.

Harry and his team aren't exactly off to the best of starts.

MayQueeen · 05/06/2023 22:51

Yup it is

and I’m glad to see that poster double down on their bile slurs

thank you for showing us all the hypocrisy

MrsFinkelstein · 05/06/2023 22:53

@Florissant it's best not to engage. It's like playing chess with a pigeon.

MayQueeen · 05/06/2023 22:55

@MrsMaxDeWinter i quite clearly tagged another poster and called them out for tagging me. How have you made it all about you? Why are you posting as though you are tht other poster? In fact you’ve done that more than once on this thread. How bizarre for a poster to respond as though they were another poster, and repeatedly

MrsFinkelstein · 05/06/2023 22:55

Yes, and I believe the KC's for MGN are planning to cross examine him for at least a day and a half - they asked for an extension for the half day and the Judge granted them it (?because Harry's KC ran over his time and Harry didn't turn up).

Oh dear

They say that first impressions matter. This is not a good one

However if their case it strong, it should outweigh that.

And one hope that the relevance of what currently looks tangential will become rather more clear

Nofixedabodewell · 05/06/2023 22:56

Harry is a product of his upbringing. He’s been brought up to think he’s special, above mere mortals who have to work for a living or consider the feelings of others.
If he doesn’t want to do something he won’t. He won’t countenance being thwarted or questioned or held to account. He likes to question others however and occupy the higher ground at all times. It’s quite sickening.
They are all like this, it’s just that they cover it up better than Harry.

MayQueeen · 05/06/2023 22:57

@MrsFinkelstein
Yes the guardian did a great job snidely throwing shade!

and usually they love fawning over Harry - interesting to see the shift

MayQueeen · 05/06/2023 22:58

‘He likes to question others however and occupy the higher ground at all times. It’s quite sickening. ‘

thats the crux of it, he’s a hypocrite and that’s why people start rolling their eyes at him

TrashyPanda · 05/06/2023 23:00

@Nofixedabodewell - and Harry has made it clear he likes hobnobbing with the famous folk of LA and living a glamorous lifestyle.
