I've probably garbled that, but that's the gist of it.

If people are getting PM’s, can I get one too please? 🙏

MayQueeen · 05/06/2023 21:09

I had my suspicions about a few of them, there were a couple who tried to pretend to be neutral but I’d see how they stir it up and pick on posters - feeling vindicated they’ve also disappeared as they were quite good at convincing others they were neutral

Haywirecity · 05/06/2023 21:09

There was a hoo haa over a Nazi comment.

Lets not make the thread about people not posting. It's enjoyable to be able just post and agree and disagree nicely but not having people so entrenched, they xant ever see both sides. If all we do is end up talking about posters not posting, they might as well be back on the thread!

CathyorClaire · 05/06/2023 21:16

the withdrawal of the super fans happened a couple of weeks ago over an outrageous incident.

Yep.

Have also noted this near catastrophic event.

Totally agree with this.

There's an awful lot of new king related happy flapping there.

Harold's uncelebrated birthday notwithstanding there's not a lot of 'slimmed down monarchy' evident.

Those dates are about the king, the queen and and the heir to the throne. How much more slimmed down can you get than that?

But flying the flag on the kings wedding day. 😲 He must really love Camilla but...really?

I agree but can it even be said?
Most of the powerful PR agencies have SM covered in the job description. It is the most powerful tool shaping public opinion of their clients and can make or break their clients so they would never ignore it in a million years.

Does he need an official birthday just like Mummy?

Haywirecity · 05/06/2023 21:29

That poster is still around. They disagreed with me over something on another thread. All good, no problems with people disagreeing with me, although, naturally, they're wrong. 😉😄
I think sometimes people get so frustrated that people deliberately misunderstand or disagree with their opinions, that there's like a one-upmanship in the comments and something unworthy gets said. It doesn't make people bad people. It's a very human thing to do. They probably regret it so let's not keep bringing it back up.

Perhaps one poster was writing a book and all the others were employed to generate controversy to ensure there was enough content? 🤔

I did email MNHQ and named names lol! To me it was too much tag teaming going on, but I just got the brush off. 🤷🏻‍♀️. God forbid these people were paid?

It seems wise to. He always has to carry out state duties on his birthday and they're usually outside. His birthday is in November so the weather would likely be awful. N guarantee it won't be on his official birthday on June, but less chance and more likely to be warmer and attract visitors.
I don't know why you feel the need to infantilise him. It's just being practical.

Surely, a site like MN wouldn't ban the asking of questions like "are we being lied to?" or "is this propaganda/paid publicity?"?? Surely not?!

Seriously, of course it can be asked. It would be the height of censorship to not even allow people to ask if they're being lied to.

polkadotdalmation · 05/06/2023 21:34

@sheworemellowyellow Exactly what I suggested to MNHQ and what I believe. I can understand and sympathise with people who feel strongly Meghan was subjected to racism, because she was, but the main issue was her lies, exaggeration and attacks on the royal family. Her racial identity is irrelevant to most people who dislike her and Harry because it's their behaviour which has been disgusting.

sheworemellowyellow · 05/06/2023 21:38

And it's all very interesting in the context of Harry's current court cases, and his deification of Diana and his opinion that she died at the hands of the media. Just to bring it back round to the question in hand. It will come all come out, eventually, but even now it doesn't take a great leap of imagination to work out that Harry may be just as much a player in a dirty media game as those he's suing. It's all very sordid and grubby, down in the gutter.

That’s really not true - There are less flags days now than there were under the late QEII , as i posted earlier today along with this link.

most folk don’t even know about “flag days”, far less how many there are or the fact there is an actual list of them!

polkadotdalmation · 05/06/2023 21:41

Anyway, back to the trial. Listening to black belt barrister and he thinks Harry is going to be vigorously cross examined in the witness box by MGNs barrister as there are 33 incidents of breaches of privacy that need heavy scrutiny to get to the bottom of whether they were really obtained in an illegal manner. Harry was also ordered b the judge to be available on the first day, so no being there was not cleve at all. What is he playing at I wonder. It's his trial!

Maybe he isn’t used to complying? Or perhaps he’s lost interest in how own media circus as it’s not been resonating how he would have liked with the general public?

CathyorClaire · 05/06/2023 21:53

Can you elaborate?

The Court Circular for last November would indicate the vast majority of visits and receptions conducted under cover.

MayQueeen · 05/06/2023 21:53

‘join in the jerk circle ‘

oh my gosh - you’re trying to take the moral higher ground after saying that to everyone? 😭😂 sums you up x

StartupRepair · 05/06/2023 21:57

So Harry was actually in the UK but just resting up after the flight instead of turning up to court as required?
