Agree she has beige talent and it's just her title that's got her here. She has more talent for using people to get where she wants. Harry was her biggest stepping stone though he's also a millstone round her neck now. Very canny at using the media PR etc to get her where she wants. Hats off I guess as it's succeeded but more and more people are not taken in and producers will soon click the lack of talent. The sympathy harry still attracts is holding up slightly better but not much.

£120m isn't actually that much if you look at London, house prices, etc never mind expecting it to keep you, and your future generations, in a Hollywood lifestyle. To say it is is naive.

Oh absolutely, it's all about her title and her husband.

If its all she has then why not use it? She's not the first and won't be the last.

Hopefully whatever she does going forward is now positive and not solely focused on her short time as a working Royal.

Not if you don't invest it and have other projects going at the same time like no1 books, podcasts. voiceovers etc. Not to mention when you invest with places like ethicss/tea companies etc. Bet their fortune is double at this rate.

You've got to hand it to Meghan - her talent is to become a rich celebrity for the sake of becoming a rich celebrity with no actual, raw talent underpinning it and she will keep on rising ever upwards. She is smart enough to realize that she doesn't have anything special to give but since her efforts have paid off and she has an expensive lifestyle to maintain then why should she get bogged down by matters of conscience, self awareness and the rest?

This is very true! Seems to Marry to get a few more rungs up the ladder - like others have said, the would never have touched her with a barge pole before she bagged herself a royal husband

A bit of Hollywood quid pro quo detail I noted is that the wife of the Head of the agency owns STAUD - Meghan was wearing that brand at the Lakers game this week.

If its the same agency isn’t this the one which Francesca in Story of My Life (one of my all time favourite books) works for?

Good for Meghan is all I can say. At one point I was very Team RF and sort of against Meghan and Harry, but now I just think they should be left alone! Have seen the Netflix documentaries too.

Exactly what do you know about whose homes she visits, who she hangs out with, who in "Hollywood" she invites into their home? Who are these "people with decency" that are "dropping away from them"?

Did you, for instance, know that this WME signing was in the works? What else do you know about that she has signed up to do, and with whom?

There is a huge difference between what you wish and hope and desire will happen to her (failure, rejection, humiliation) and what is actually going on in her life, which only she, her husband, friends, advisors and business partners know about.

Unless she chooses to tell you about it. As she has done with the WME signing😜

You just need to know which to knock,

And I don’t think decency and Hollywood mix well together, to quote Ricky Gervais when he mentioned working with Harvey Weinstein and Epstein , "you did it he’s your friend”.

I guess it’s not acting but more like talk show and such?

Her star was rising pre-Harry but pretty slowly and it required a hard slog with her age and lack of stratospheric success holding her back. Harry allowed her to whizz forwards and probably get much faster to the finish line of stardom but he is an opportunity that is now fully exploited and there are still upward goals to reach. That is probably how he will end up getting left behind.

She could drop the titles but why close off that option for her children? She doesn't especially care about the meritocratic value of her actions, saving face, being judged, she's achieving her goals.
