Duchess of Success succeeds in getting the ridiculous lawsuit by Samantha Markle dismissed

Common sense decision this.

I hope that the tabloids who were (most probably) sponsoring this non-case of Samantha Markle's will pay the Duchess of Sussex her legal fees.

The judge correctly found that how Meghan felt about her upbringing was a subjective opinion about her childhood and her relationship with her half-sister. The court found that Meghan's statement about "feeling like an only child" is not objectively verifiable or subject to empirical proof, and, as a statement of pure opinion was “not capable of being proved false”.
The court also said the plaintiff Samantha "cannot plausibly disprove" Meghan's "opinion of her own childhood."

On the claims based on Finding Freedom, the court said the Duchess could not be held accountable for a book that she did not write or publish.

Go Meghan. I'm sure Samantha will file something else again soon ... and that she will lose again.

For the record I don't hate MM or PH I just don't like them (big difference) and I judge them by their own words and actions, in the same way I don't like Samantha either based on her words and actions (although I wouldn't go as far as you have and call her a bitch!).

The fact you have called me out for my supposedly hateful comment when you have made a worse one yourself is a good example of the sort of nonsense that goes on on these threads.

I'm slightly frustrated that we will be denied the opportunity to see some 'narc on narc' action in the courts. I don't think we would have disappointed. Judge has been a bit of a spoil sport if you ask me.

Meghan was an unknown, she's such a great feminist that she's married to get notoriety and money, didn't get what she wanted and is using a marriage given title to promote herself ... Unless you are saying that yes, they both were flying on someone else's coat tails and it's a case of one sister got luckier than the other? In which case I'd certainly agree with you on that.

And yes, Samantha was discovered, by a data analysis company, to have multiple online accounts dedicated to trolling H&M. I don't think she has the smarts or organisation for that so, someone is surely bankrolling her. So I wouldn't worry about her bills and wheelchair.

Also, there is no such thing as riding on your own husband's coattails - the father of your children. That is not a thing! (it would be like saying the housewife who started working when her kids grow up - maybe in the family business or associated, is riding on her husband coattails. Ridiculous!).

I've seen similar said in comments of new reports where it's been reported as dismissed - so googled:

The court dismissed Samantha's claims without prejudice, giving her the opportunity to file an amended complaint within 14 days of the order. The court also denied Samantha's request for attorneys' fees and costs under the anti-SLAPP statute without prejudice, stating that it was premature.

So technically it does seem so but everyone is reporting it as done and dusted - though honestly I never thought it was much of a case so perhaps they are coming from a similar place with the reporting.

@diflasu Yes she can get the grounds amended, as she relied a lot on what was in the finding freedom book, which was not direct from Meghan. She can use the Netflix series and the Oprah interview which is undeniably straight from the horses mouth, not via omid scobie It they don't allow an amendment, she can start a new libel suit because the grounds will be different.
