I say NO.

Why put himself through it? His family is too cold and not just because of his actions or what has revealed. I think they have always been that way.

Besides, it will also be Archie's birthday.

He'll be there to pick up snippets for book 2. Whether anybody will speak to him is a different matter. If my brother had sold his soul and personal details about me he'd only be receiving a cold shoulder.
For the couple who wanted to out of the limelight and the media he's sure got a peculiar way of avoiding it.

michaelmacrae · 18/03/2023 09:20

the reality is they are hypocritical; so many examples. promoting an eco travel company after stepping off a private jet for a jolly to Ibiza and Italy.

The Royals are staggering hypocrites when it comes to the environment. Charles has been banging on about eco for decades yet travels by private jet. He is the biggest hypocrite of all. William held the 'prestigious' Earthshot prize yet travels by private jet, and accepts donations from a Saudi oil company.

These Royal threads would be barren land without Meghan and Harry.
Anyone who thinks they will be ‘allowed’ to fade into obscurity is delusional.
They are indeed the stars of the Royal family.

Well only because he makes himself so high profile with all his attention seeking media crap.

If he wants to fade into obscurity all he need do is stop releasing unpleasant shit about other people.

I thought Prince and Princess of Wales took a commercial British Airways flight to Earthshot?

I would imagine arranging security for the RF on commercial planes takes a lot of organisation.

Cascais · 18/03/2023 10:06

Yes

Have you spoken to your husband about this?

I don't think he shouldn't go if he wants to.
From everything he's said about the RF, the institution and the people (plus the media), I genuinely don't know why he'd want to.

He'll go because the.RF are how he makes money - without the opportunity to exploit the RF Harry is nothing and Meghan is less than nothing.
I think the King has made a big mistake in allowing them to come.

Roussette · 18/03/2023 10:39

Calling a woman 'less than nothing' is awful. Talk about dehumanising.

Yes and he has to drone on pontificate lecture talk about how he is the saviour of everyone and his brother's children and be there to remind himself what a knob he really is how important he is.

pilates · 18/03/2023 10:43

@michaelmacrae ahh I see, so what you posted was factually incorrect and rather than acknowledge you say “virtue signalling” 🤔

Rhondaa · 18/03/2023 10:46

'He'll go because the.RF are how he makes money - without the opportunity to exploit the RF Harry is nothing'

Yep. He'll be back tail between his legs then scarper off back to Netflix waving his collection tin. It'd be funny if the rf played a prank and did a Wagatha Christie on him, he then leaks something totally untrue making himself look sillier than he already does.

CathyorClaire · 18/03/2023 10:55

We don’t know that Harry isn’t financially hurting as Harry and Meghan are involved with Silicon Valley bank like many other celebrities.

That's really interesting.

I haven't seen any reports on that in the UK press. Some google reports are saying they've lost millions, maybe the lot.

As you say, we'll have to see what Biden comes up with but I can't see bailing out a foreign-born multi millionaire with enormous sums playing well with the average US citizen.

Plitvice · 18/03/2023 11:05

Biden is mate, I'm sure they will get priority (done quietly) . Besides, I think it would take a much more serious financial crisis to make a dent in Harry's finances.

milti · 18/03/2023 11:16

I’m not sure they will come - if they do it will be for the publicity and to make it look like they still have connections to the royals. But if they have no role and are sat in Siberia won’t that just emphasise the fact that they are not really welcome. Why come somewhere you know you’re not wanted?

Virtue signalling.

I see - if they were to take a private jet - hypocrites. If they take a commercial flight - virtue signalling.

Do you think they might swim the Atlantic? Or sail a dinghy - they're good at that....

How will H&M get to the U.K. if they come?

notanotheroneagain · 18/03/2023 11:24

This banging on about 'cashing in on titles' narrative is so tired.

It's not like anyone is gonna wake up tomorrow and just suddenly forget that Harry is the king and Diana's son. Duh.

The royals, not content with all that money from the taxpayer 'cash in' all the time. All the time. From Charles Dutchy collection all over Waitrose to HMQE gin, tea, teacups and towels. You name it, they cash in on it.

Some people on here believe that Harry and Meghan can walk on water and teleport themselves, while acres of newly planted forests spring up when they give the word.

Yes some do cash in but they don't all make moaning reality shows and release books with a barage of criticisms, whines and other people's private information in.

His USP is how mean they all are so you would think out of principle he would distance himself from fancy names and titles. But he doesn't because the royal link pays his Netflix wages.

notanotheroneagain · 18/03/2023 11:34

So did Charles. And he is the biggest benefiter.

Rhondaa · 18/03/2023 11:42

notanotheroneagain · 18/03/2023 11:34

Oh I must've missed his moaning reality shows and his book where he talked about other people's penises and 'not hot women with crooked spines'.

If Charles did an interview and a book it is peanuts compared to the barrage of bile spewed out constantly by Harold.

milti · 18/03/2023 11:42

Selling biscuits and tea is hardly the same as selling details of your brothers private parts and private text messages with your sister in law is it ?

milti · 18/03/2023 11:43

Whilst at the same time bleating about respecting others privacy

michaelmacrae · 18/03/2023 11:53

@pilates No, the odd commercial flight taken just because of their 'climate change' event is what is virtue signalling. It's all for show. What about all the many, many times they travel by private jet, nothing to say about that, I see. Or Charles' hypocrisy.

The Earthshot ceremony was ridiculous - celebs flying in all around the world when it should have been held 100% virtually. Yet the actual winners were told to stay at home to receive their prizes! It was just a William-self-aggrandising exercise, because let's face he needs to be seen to be doing something.
