The royal family

Should Harry attend the coronation?

I say NO.

Why put himself through it? His family is too cold and not just because of his actions or what has revealed. I think they have always been that way.

Besides, it will also be Archie's birthday.

Oh I must've missed his moaning reality shows and his book where he talked about other people's penises and 'not hot women with crooked spines'.

If Charles did an interview and a book it is peanuts compared to the barrage of bile spewed out constantly by Harold.

Strangely you did miss that Charles trashed his cold mother and strict father. And also admitted to infidelity. Both in a book and interview. How is that possible?

@pilates No, the odd commercial flight taken just because of their 'climate change' event is what is virtue signalling. It's all for show. What about all the many, many times they travel by private jet, nothing to say about that, I see. Or Charles' hypocrisy.

The Earthshot ceremony was ridiculous - celebs flying in all around the world when it should have been held 100% virtually. Yet the actual winners were told to stay at home to receive their prizes! It was just a William-self-aggrandising exercise, because let's face he needs to be seen to be doing something.

This.

Apparently William was very 'sad' about the environment.
Went to preach in Asia continent and took a private jet.
They have been taking private jets after preaching about Earthshot.
They take the helicopter like an uber.

Charles exclusively flies private jet after decades of preaching climate change.

Let’s pit it this way - if my brother described my private parts in the best selling (or fastest selling m, whatever it is ) non fiction book - for that alone , I’d be done with him

Rhondaa · 18/03/2023 12:04

'Strangely you did miss that Charles trashed his cold mother and strict father. And also admitted to infidelity. Both in a book and interview. How is that possible?'

He hardly made a career out of it did he. Saying his df was strict and his mother was cold well so what. We are talking about Harry's reality shows, his plethora of nauseating repetitive US interviews plus the UK's Bradby 'racist? Who said they were racist? Not us silly!' nonsense.

We always get the 'yeah but no but Charles said his dad was strict and Fergie wrote books too' but the level backstabbing from H does not compare. He is off the scale with his reveals and breaching others privacy.

As I say I hope he does attend just to watch him bow and scrape and confirm what a raging hypocrite he is.

Exactly. And even the Queen criticised William for his frequent helicopter use. He and family use helicopters to and from Norfolk andd elsewhere like ordinary folk hop on a bus

VixenTodd · 18/03/2023 12:14

Harry will probably let rip when he bows before the king.

William also criticised Africa for its overpopulation while having three kids and using up half the country's resources with his many, many houses (5?) and land. KP has been renovated using millions of taxpayers money, but despite that they moved to Windsor and now want Royal Lodge instead, because their kids are "ashamed" their homes aren't big enough!

He is also apparently very 'sad' about homelessness (sad face), despite having said number of houses and wanting to kick H&M out of the one secure place they had in the UK. You can't make this shit up.

Coxspurplepippin · 18/03/2023 12:20

'now want Royal Lodge instead, because their kids are "ashamed" their homes aren't big enough!'

Well, you're certainly wrong that you can't make this shit up........... Grin

milti · 18/03/2023 12:21

I don’t give a shiny shit how many houses they have or how many helicopter rides they take - I don’t use the eco hypocrisy as an argument against Harry (Meghan to be fair I have never known to comment on climate change - could be wrong )

milti · 18/03/2023 12:23

@michaelmacrae I expect William has done more to help the homeless than you have

milti · 18/03/2023 12:25

@michaelmacrae they are multi millionaires m! They can by their own uk residence and hire their own security - shit in your own back yard and don’t be surprised when you get thrown out

That was in more than one media outlet

So the poster is not 'making shit up'

He did sell one Big Issue once. Is that what you mean?!

"Prince William said he joined a vendor on the streets of London earlier this month to sell The Big Issue to shine a spotlight on the "solvable issue" of homelessness. The Duke of Cambridge is the cover star of the latest issue and has written an article for the magazine about his experiences."

His experiences? Shock

Celebrating the Soaps

Well, I found it in one media using the term very loosely outlet. It seems these high quality tomes like Bunte and Celebrating the Soaps are confirming everything you say.

Perhaps they're not embarrassed by anything. Unlike Harry who was embarrassed by Nottingham Cottage.

michaelmacrae · 18/03/2023 13:17

@Coxspurplepippin as opposed to high quality tomes like the Fail and the sun?

So I wasn't making shit up then. Thanks for confirming!

LOL. One media outlet (Daily Mail) makes it up. Other outlets repeat it for clickbait and voila it's true because it was in more than one media outlet. 😂

RYGO · 18/03/2023 13:23

He should not go. It would be hypocritical. After many hours of tv interviews/docu etc and a whole book slagging them off just stay away.

CathyorClaire · 18/03/2023 13:25

Charles Dutchy collection all over Waitrose

Charles offloaded the use of the name to Waitrose when he wasn't turning a profit on it himself.

Waitrose takes the risk and Charles gets the charitable glory which is quite a neat trick.

Absolutely.

Still don't know why he needs to rent office space for it when he has the run of endless rooms in endless palaces. He could even move into Andrew's recently vacated office space...

earthshotprize.org/the-earthshot-prize-to-hold-fellowship-retreat-with-2022-finalists-in-windsor-featuring-visit-from-prince-william/

Winners were at a fellowship retreat in Windsor to further their plans. Much better then at a awards ceremony. At this retreat they could network etc.

If you don't know the ins and outs better not say anything.

milti · 18/03/2023 13:36

@Roussette he’s actually been Centre point’s patron since 2005 - Keeping Diana's work alive, Prince William plays an active role in all aspects of Centrepoint. He even helped young people directly when he spent two days volunteering in our accommodation services. Working with young people to discuss their situation, review their personal development plans, sort out their housing benefit claims and find more permanent accommodation, William used his special way of connecting with people from all backgrounds, making them feel at ease.

milti · 18/03/2023 13:37

From Centre points website - he also visits under the radar up to 6 times per year - I appreciate under the radar is not de rigeur for some

CathyorClaire · 18/03/2023 14:25

Replying direct to the poster I was quoting might be a better look if you want to lecture.

On another thread, there are claims that they are moving in to Fort Belvedere, so it all sounds like a lot of speculation 🤷‍♀️

Puzzledandpissedoff · 18/03/2023 14:33

I don't suppose many would dispute that, RYGO, but the suggested choice wasn't between networking at a ceremony or at rented premises - it was about why the rental was necessary when there are already so many properties available to the RF

CathyorClaire · 18/03/2023 14:40

I think the lease on the outside premises was given up in August 2021.

The year Earthshot spent £12m while awarding £5m in prizes but it's hard to fathom why those premises were ever deemed necessary in the first place.
