Should Harry attend the coronation?

I say NO.

Why put himself through it? His family is too cold and not just because of his actions or what has revealed. I think they have always been that way.

Besides, it will also be Archie's birthday.

Celebrating the Soaps

Well, I found it in one media using the term very loosely outlet. It seems these high quality tomes like Bunte and Celebrating the Soaps are confirming everything you say.

Perhaps they're not embarrassed by anything. Unlike Harry who was embarrassed by Nottingham Cottage.

Well come on now. Even William made fun of the low ceilings at the cottage when they met with Ant and Dec.

William also criticised Africa for its overpopulation while having three kids and using up half the country's resources with his many, many houses (5?) and land. KP has been renovated using millions of taxpayers money, but despite that they moved to Windsor and now want Royal Lodge instead, because their kids are "ashamed" their homes aren't big enough!

He is also apparently very 'sad' about homelessness (sad face), despite having said number of houses and wanting to kick H&M out of the one secure place they had in the UK. You can't make this shit up.

Riding on the skirts of the same mum he thinks is 'paranoid'. I have never been as disappointed in William quite as much as him going on national TV and saying this. He must hate himself.

@Coxspurplepippin as opposed to high quality tomes like the Fail and the sun?

So I wasn't making shit up then. Thanks for confirming!

Oh dear - I thought you were joking, but you're really getting your information from 'Celebrating the Soaps'. They make the Mail et al look like serious journalism, that's how bad 'celebrating the Soaps' is.

You read in 'Celebrating the Soaps' that William's kids are embarrassed about the size of their house and you think that's true and worth posting. There's definitely someone who should be embarrassed and it's not William's kids. GrinGrin

You trot this one out all the time. William knows better than most how his mother was feeling and behaving, due to him being her son. You have no idea. He said that the Bashir interview fuelled her “fear, paranoia and isolation.” The first definition of paranoia is nothing to do with mental illness He didn’t say she was clinically paranoid That sounds like he was concerned for her and angry at the deceit of the interviewer. I’m sure Harry felt the same.

Come on - William made a joke of it. He wasn't embarrassed by it as Harry was - embarrassed that he lived in a small (4 bed) cottage in the centre of London. Poor thing.

From Centre points website - he also visits under the radar up to 6 times per year - I appreciate under the radar is not de rigeur for some

Quite.

Invloved with a charity since 2005 yet that equates to selling a issue of The Big Issue apparently.

I wish the few remaining Harold fans could just see how hypocritical they look when they dismiss William like this yet praise blabbermouth Harry for his awful reality shows and privacy invading gossipy books.

@Coxspurplepippin

Um, I didn't actually post that link, you did? My point is, I definitely did not make up the story myself.

I read it from a link on Twitter though I don't know where it was from now. There were several links about it at the time. It seems you read Celebrating the Soaps, not me!

You stated they were moving because the kids were embarrassed by the size of the house. I thought that was unlikely. I had a look and the only 'publication' I found with a story was the intellectual 'Celebrating the Soaps', so I assumed, obviously incorrectly, that this is where you got your info from. My mistake, mea culpa - you got the info from some unspecified twitter comment, which makes it so much more likely to be true doesn't it. 😂😂😂

pilates · 18/03/2023 17:33

I certainly don’t believe twitter links - what a load of bs.

Anyway back on track, I’m sure we will have an announcement soon from the Sussex household.

mixedrecycling · 18/03/2023 17:47

To go back to the original question - he should attend if he wants to, of course.

His various family members and the general public will give him the welcome they want to give him, positive or negative.

I hope he does because it will be entertaining, but I realise that is a very shallow perspective 😂

RoobarbandCustud · 19/03/2023 12:10

I hope they come and everyone (media, crowds etc) behave decently. They stayed in the UK longer than they anticipated for the Queen's funeral, which can't have been easy because their children were so little. I don't think the RF will snub them, but they are can't be trusted with more than pleasantries and small talk.

Fragrantandfoolish · 19/03/2023 12:28

Well aapparently they are now trying to muscle their kids in to get roles, even though they are too little. They are so competely desperate to be visibly royals and part of it , it’s toe curlingly embarrassing

Roussette · 19/03/2023 12:32

Where did you hear or see that? Daily Mail?

I've not seen them put out a statement to that effect

In what way?
Care to.explain?
Or is it just some made up.nonsense to.get people frothing?

milveycrohn · 19/03/2023 16:14

Yes, they should go. (And very likely will go, as it is important for their brand).
I think it is clear that P. Harry DOES hate his family, and releasing all kinds of negative personal information about them. If that is NOT the case, then he has a very strange way of showing it.

Probably made up nonsense. Bit like the nonsense that Prince George etc are embarrassed by their meagre dwellings and are demanding Windsor Castle.

googlejourney · 26/03/2023 21:41

Hours after it was announced that they were asked to vacate Frogmore they made sure they were photographed, looking gorgeous, glamorous, relaxed and happy (refusing to use the private celebrity entrance but rather the main entrance where paparazzi had been tipped off if of their arrival)

And Meghan rolling down the tinted windows when being transported to the jubilee

Meghan taking Netflix crew to film her paying respects in Texas etc.

This defiance refusing to hide from
Controversial headlines and cashing in on media attention is the 'modus operandi' which is why they absolutely will attend the coronation and the demands they gave made are all aimed at getting photo ops.
