Do you all find Charles, Camilla, William and Kate boring?

I am genuinely interested, Because every single post I have seen about one of these four ends up getting derailed by Harry and Meghan.
Try it. Post about one of them and within a small number of posts people will be talking about Harry and Meghan. It happens again and again and again.
So do find these 4 really boring then? Or are you just so fascinated about Harry and Meghan you want to talk about them whenever you can?

Quite right!
Was just dumbfounded someone thought poor old Camilla should hulk out and lift a grown man from a car to be honest! 🤣

It was a woman. I'm only five foot and I think I can help get a woman out of a car. She was only trapped by her skirt.

"Mrs Parker Bowles told the police she had not remained at the scene of the accident or exchanged details with the other driver, as required by law, because she was concerned about the security risk."

Concerned about her own security? So she was speeding and then left the scene of the crash with a trapped driver still in it. Lovely.

DessertsForAll · 11/03/2023 15:00

She fled the scene and rang Charles so he could cover it all up and ensure she was not prosecuted.

She stood on a hill to get service so she could call the police and an ambulance.

Non-story. But nice try.

Meanwhile, Harry’s clearly lied on his paperwork to get a US visa. Or else is being held to a different standard than other people trying to come here. That’s fine, right?

@Roussette The law does not apply to the Royal Family. Just look at Andrew. This is just another example.

Yes, there have been many incidents. Criminal damage Andrew ramming hates. Prince Philip driving at age 97 and causing an accident with injuries to the passengers of the other car. Anyone else would have the book thrown at them.
Never mind, he took delivery of a brand new Land Rover less than 24 hours after the accident.

Yet the article plainly says she called police and ambulance and the story was not covered up at all?

Inkanta · 11/03/2023 15:04

Their own self serving rules and regulations but not necessarily a moral compass.

AliceOlive · 11/03/2023 15:05

Clearly you do find the four of them fascinating because here you are frittering your Saturday away banging on about them, once again.

No I'd never heard that, do you have a link? Pretty terrible if true, and it's kind of how I've always suspected she was like.

No idea how a woman suddenly got turned into a man (seems like a heavily set man too according to MN).

Camilla saw the car was overturned, and never bothered to look or knock on the window, whatever. There could have been kids there. She never looked if any petrol was coming out and potentially cause a hazard/fire. Nothing at all to report to the ambulance. Paramedics would surely leave a call out to a broken arm/leg for an unconscious car wreck victim/dc. Most definitely, if gas is pouring out of a smoking car, you will move the victim and they may be paralysed but thank you for saving their lives.

Camilla did nothing except save her own skin.

DessertsForAll · 11/03/2023 15:05

@AliceOlive If that was true, you return to the scene. She did not, she fled the scene.
Personally I think it is a made up story.
And the crash was not covered up, but the reason for it was. The other woman indicates Camilla was driving very fast.

Sorry, I don't know why I found that funny. But I did! 🤣🤣🤣

MN at its best! That man was a giant lol

Roussette · 11/03/2023 15:10

I just find the timing of this accident, with all his security, valets and god knows who rushing out... this is 1997, the year before Diana died, I can't remember the state of Charle's relationship with her and what we knew about Camilla at that point.

Its the Royalists again who make things up to justify anything. If the article did not say clearly it was a woman who was only trapped by her skirt, then this thread would be the end have the trapped driver as a 19 stone rugby player who was 6 foot tall.

@Roussette Diana and Charles were getting divorced. We knew about Camilla but we had been told they would never marry.

I think the accident happened in June 1997, two months before Diana died. We definitely did know all about Camilla and Charles by then. She was trying to protect herself first, and save the woman after.

DessertsForAll · 11/03/2023 15:20

And if Camilla did not even look in the windows of the car why would she ring an ambulance? She had zero idea if an ambulance was required and would not be able to give them any useful information. The woman could be totally unhurt and just shaken, or dying and needing urgent attention.

Were you there?

DessertsForAll · 11/03/2023 15:34

It is what the woman who Camilla hit says. Or are you saying she is a liar?
She was there.

No, I find them more interesting than H&M overall. Camilla in particular is a very interesting woman.

Loving your fan fiction here. 🤣🤣. Do you live in America, then?

DessertsForAll · 11/03/2023 15:59

@Serenster Yeah better not to even look in the car windows to assess the situation and just run away.

She's certainly... interesting.
Running far out of a car as soon as you've crashed is the kind of thing criminals do. One must protect oneself first!

DessertsForAll · 11/03/2023 16:06

Camilla has always struck me as looking after number one and her children first. She got a trust fund set up for her children by Charles BEFORE marrying him.
I predict her kids will get more in the coming years whether houses owned by the Crown Estate or titles, or a mixture of both.

OP posts:
jeffgoldblum · 11/03/2023 16:19

Remember that time Camilla had an accident and left the trapped driver watching her run up the hill to call Charles' office.
The Torygraphy pretended that she called the ambulance and police, but KC people were there first, so I bet they called the police. Why didn't she check on the driver, maybe take them out incase the car catches fire or something first. Maybe she could also tell the ambulance or whoever how urgent it is because the person is bleeding and trapped.

Apologies, but your wording led me to believe she left her poor driver in her crashed vehicle, and didn't clarify that this wasn't the case for several pages .
Until @derxa helpfully provided a link your words were all we had!

DessertsForAll · 11/03/2023 16:21

The other driver was only trapped by her skirt but Camilla did not know that as she had not checked. It would have been easy to help her get free. There is unlikely to have been any need for an ambulance at all.
