I’m afraid you couldn’t be further from the truth. I couldn’t gaf who the god mother is of a child in California who is nothing to do with me. I just find your attempts to rationalise the completely abnormal things that H & M do any time they do them as genuinely fascinating.

Still waiting for any one to tell me of one god parent of any royal baby who has been hounded and harassed. Pure fantasy.

The godparents of the RF children would have been protected by the RF, from the Royal rota, they would have known not to hound them. H&M won't have that and their godparents would know that.

Why? They chose to live elsewhere if tou make that choice sometimes you can't have family members with you for big events

I have 4 children my parents attended 1 christening each. Doesn't mean they don't care about the 3 they didn't attend it means they could not make it to the UK.

Nooo. Godparent names have sometimes been released in advance and then photos are always released afterwards where they put a face to the name. They then sort of give a bit of background of each of them. Friend from school, 2nd son of the Duke of xxx, regular polo player. I don't remember them becoming fodder for the press. And believe me, back in the 80s, if they'd wanted to go after them they would.

I'm strongly of the opinion I don't care who the godparents are and they can keep it to themselves. But the idea that no one pursued other godparents because of the RF protecting them just isn't credible. The RF can't even protect themselves from the press.

If you're not British, why? I can't think I'd ever comment on how your government works, or comment on democratic unicameral or bicameral govts systems. I just wouldn't be bothered because I don't live there. Why do you want an elected head of state for the UK?

I am an Irish woman born and brought up in N. Ireland. The royal family is a relic of colonialism and imperialism which has wrought destruction and bloodshed across the globe, the negative impacts of which continue to have a direct effect here in N. Ireland to this day. Not a fan.
