Will Harry and Meghan come to Coronation?

I do not think they will. They will stay away but all anyone will talk about is why they did not come and should they have come.

I think they are going to rock up with both kids , use the kids as their justification for coming, to see their grandad coronated , and go on about birthright, saying it’s not about them , it’s about the kids.

When obviously it’s all about them, but they will try to pretend its about the kids. They also know if they bring the kids, the media will be all over them and they will make global headlines,

as said they will stay at frogmore , that’s why that was announced.

@Serenster You never talk about the TV interview Charles gave where he said amongst other damning things that his parents were rubbish parents.
To be fair I think they probably were. But it is a very damning thing to say on national TV.

@Serenster Well put. They will do similar at the Coronation if they come. The tantrum over Meighan’s attendance when the Queen was dying was awful. The family must be drained by his constant demands and trying to make everything a reality TV show. Once the Coronation is done hopefully they will fade from view and stay in the States. Not giving them more ammunition has got to be the family strategy I’d assume.

I think this is the long term plan for Charles reign. They will attend his coronation and his state funeral.

But when Willam ascends, that will be it done. I dont think William will ever firguve/apologise to Harry. It's a different dynamic a sibling relationship to a father/son relationship.

So at least H and M have a decade or so more of royal connection.

They will come and I suspect that along with the titles for their children this is the beginning of the slow process to feed them back in to the family. I think over the next few years they’ll be assimilated back in. The BRF and all the attached courtiers only care about The BRF, which is stronger if everyone is “getting on” and shields are up. Harry & Meghan’s antics are destabilising to that, and I think they’ll do pretty much anything to stop the drama and get them back on side. Also it is clear Harry is a drug addict at this point, they’ll probably want to be trying to get some kind of hold on that.

See it is those kind of lies about Harry being a drug addict that means he will never come back. Why subject himself and his family to that kind of nonsense?
They aint coming back ever. They will carry on doing well for himself in the US. And people on here and elsewhere will keep predicting it will all fall apart.
There were so many comments on here saying he would be back in the Royal Family within a year. Three years now and counting.

I think he will come as this will be his last chance for a long time to be seen publicly as a royal . There should be no more high profile events like weddings , funerals , or jubilees . Unless something drastic happens and there is a high profile funeral .
Meghan won't come as all the tiaras will already have been bagsied !😄

It does make one wonder…they really worked hard to project that Image of him. But he’s written a book telling stories about being drunk, taking a swing at his protection officers and drug taking. They were so worried they took him to a rehab centre for a tour. He’s damaged his own reputation and I’m not sure what he thinks he’s gaining from it.

I suppose it leaves the question of who the wretched Scobie got the image from - maybe he had a deal with the pap who took it rather than H&M being directly involved? - but it certainly doesn't look good considering they're so keen to use him for leaks (court judgements revealed in a few minutes, etc.)

Their judgment in using a weirdo like that is so incredibly poor. Was there no one in Harry's orbit who could take him aside, three or four years ago, and get him the help he clearly needs and prevent him from trashing his entire life as he has?

If they are so unhappy/upset with their family/royal family which Netflix’s and books confirm then why would they come? I suspect they will but it just makes them an even bigger joke in my opinion.

It isn’t lies. He is. He has had issues with drugs throughout his life - by his own self admission - and now confidently discusses his current drug usage in public. This is a man who is reliant on drugs and showing clear relief that he is now able to consume them and partake of an “acceptable” and “legal” regular drug regime.

We learned about H’s drug use directly from him. It does make me wonder how much BP press office protected him from negative stories.
My personal opinion is that H and M have seen the negative global reaction to Spare and the NF series. They are now trying a different strategy involving the children. Using the children’s titles and attending the coronation, they may hope some royal glitter will rub off on them.

Too bloody right they'll be there, they've just christened the kids Prince and Princess, they won't be able to stop themselves despite their "we just want our privacy, stop looking at us" etc etc. I hope they do come as I think King Charles loves Harry and if they come and toe the line it will mean a lot to him.
Maybe less gossip if they don't rock any boats but a relief all round. Although perhaps best not to sit them near Queen Camilla.😉

They've not christened the kids Prince and Princess!

The christening of Princess Lilibet of Sussex has just taken place (she won't have been given it as a name, it's simply a way to refer to a princess, just like the way the christening of Princess Charlotte was announced). And the royal website has updated to change them from Master Archie and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet of Sussex

I've said all along that I think they will be invited, but it is of course up to the Duke and Duchess whether they come over. I doubt pre-schoolers would attend the Abbey, but I'd expect them to be on the Balcony
