You seem to misunderstand the point. Emma was given a unique break as a child actress because she looked/sounded like the author of a book imagined her own character to look/sound. She was not talented, she had unique appeal to the person who invented the character. All the roles she won since have been off the back of the franchise, including modeling ones.

No, I understand completely. Watson got the role because she was the right image for it. And Markle got her roles because she was the right image for those. But Watson, despite being talentless, gets a pass and Markle, despite being quite good, doesn't. Because unique situation and non comparison.

"Hot chick" roles aren't won upon the same basis. They require you to project a sexy image. Many Hollywood wannabee actresses are willing and able to do that which is the only reason it is competitive.
Others are able to do it but refuse to go there.

Good for them. So what? The roles are there, they're usually created by men, and many actresses have the choice of trying for those roles or getting nothing at all. Maybe you'd choose an empty bank balance and a blank CV because those are your principles, but there's nothing wrong with other women deciding otherwise...and it's not their fault that that's the overriding option for them.

But I believe Harry has given him little choice and zero reason to keep up the charade. Harry and Meghan have publicly bullied and emotionally blackmailed the entire family for long enough. Publicly demanding an apology and the language he used to do so would have been my last straw.

They have not used Frogmore for years now except when necessary. Certainly they have extensive options of secure places to stay in other Crown properties if they ever do wish to spend time in the UK. They clearly have no interest in doing that now except for funerals and jubilees. And those are visits only, which don’t require a mansion to be held empty in perpetuity.

Even the royal reporters are confused (this one particularly loathes H&M) 😏

Me too, I see nothing vindictive in it. Harry has went out of his way to attack his family publicly and for money, he’s declared he lives in the USA and he’s loved at frogmore for 6 months, the other 2.5 years it’s been basically empty other than when Eugenie stayed.

Your argument fails because they were both pro-hot chick roles on different sides of the camera, just not the same camera at once. She was certainly not going hungry or morally conflicted. They were both enjoying the spoils of it as a long term couple for years and years.

Not really. According to the publicly known information the Sussexes had a lease running from April 2021 to April 2022. Every lease requires either the landlord or tenant to give notice that they won’t renew it/want to terminate it. That notice is normally 90 days. Which would take us from April to January. It’s very likely that the decision to give the couple notice was actually made earlier, before Spare came out, as Charles would have to instruct his property management team, they’d have to draw up the notice in advance and then send it when the date that was 90 days before the anniversary of the lease arrived.

So it’s far more likely that it’s a coincidence.
