Lordy, seems very sensible to lease the house to someone else but I do think any costs should be refunded to H&M.

My personal theory is that Charles is coming up with effectively a settlement agreement with Harry where he will receive a lump sum if he agrees to keep his mouth shut going on. That's what I would do in his situation.

I think silence on both sides is what is needed now and then maybe in a few years there can be some type of reconciliation. I suspect at the moment neither side can see anyone's point but their own.

As an aside, Meghan looked great in the photos.

Surprised at the reports about Eugenie and Jack having Nottingham Cottage while in the UK though. I believe it has only two bedrooms (?) and with one child already and Eugenie pregnant again that would be a bit of a squeeze for anyone, royal or not

What are you on about? She was a core cast member of a very successful cable TV programme and she made $2 million from acting before she met Harry. Do you think that's something to be sniffed at? Do you think most actors manage that? It's just such an easy industry with so many opportunities for everyone?

People don't have to like Meghan but I wish they'd stop pretending that her acting career wasn't successful. It's demonstrably untrue and a really daft thing to say.

Based on her general approach to publicising charitable gifts (i.e. she makes a big song and dance when she donates a cake, a tray of sandwiches, a box of vegetables, some copies of her book, some Starbucks gift cards) I feel fairly safe in assuming that if she had donated several hundred thousands worth of clothes to charity, we would most definitely have heard all about it. 😀

I watched it live,back in the day Edward's strop at the end was a real eye-opener - they are all like Prince Philip quick to anger.

Backgrid photographers are never just there. They are paid by the client of whom they are taking the photos - in this case Harry and Meghan.

Someone famous like Megan Fox would never need to pay Backgrid because there will always be photographers chasing them for free. When a lower listing of celebrity could use some publicity, they will invest in Backgrid's services.

And Meghan is looking straight to camera and smiling, hardly the actions of someone surprised by paps....

Everything is just so stage managed with these two, it must be exhausting being them.

It was a boiling hot day. The Press for Royal Knockout were not allowed outside. They were crammed in a tent watching it on TV. Steady Eddie then comes in all full of himself after it was over saying... wasn't it brilliant, what did you all think of it?
Cue polite murmers.
Cue Edward having a complete meltdown saying FINE THAT'S IT THEN and stropping out.
I sometimes think the RF haven't got one brain cell between them. What did he expect? They'd probably been in that tent for about five hours!

To see the mother of 2 children who has been pilloried in the press day in day out even when she hasn't been anywhere and been absent for nearly 3 months... looking good and happy is nice as far as I'm concerned.

I love her, followed her since Suits.

I’m not into comparing woman. I think Kate is lovely too. In fact, the Royal men are very good at picking smart, and lovely, women as their wives. Thank heavens. The royal gene pool needed it.

She was better known in America than here. The fact that you and your friends hadn't heard of her doesn't really negate the fact that she was on a successful, award winning and critically acclaimed TV show and earning €50,000 per episode at its peak...and, for all her "D list" status, was in a circle that made her a direct acquaintance of Piers Morgan (say what you will about him, he's famous) and one step removed from Prince Harry.

She had a successful career and was worty €2 million before she met Harry. She wasn't a nobody and a professional failure just because you didn't know who she was. The 1 - 4 million people who tuned in to watch her show did.
