The media will never get tired, until someone younger and more interesting comes along. In that case, more likely W&K's children and other Royal children.

It's always been thus - Princess Margaret, Princess Grace and then her children. It would have happened to Diana too eventually.

It happens to Hollywood stars too. The "Gossip Queens" Louella Parsons and Hedda Hopper had millions and millions of followers, and its continued to this day.

Meghan was an actor who chased a higher level of fame, but who would never have reached this level without her marriage to Harry - and then realised just how toxic fame is.

The US tabloids are just as bad as the UKs. And they are far more exposed now than they were as Senior Royals. It must be so much harder.

But yes the next generation of Archie and Lilibet, Charlotte and Louis are going to drive the media interest in 20years, but it will depend on the story they provide.

Lilibet the American actress, Louis the party boy or Archie the politician would generate more stories than George the navy pilot with anice girlfriend. Or Charlotte doing a history degree while occasionally wearing a nice hat. Or however they all turn out.

Some of them will provide the story. Some of them will fly under the radar.

I suspect Meghan's imagination ran away with her when she wrote the half in half out instagram post, and it must be upsetting that she isn't the revered A list star she imagined she would be, as she planned her half in half out royal life.

No doubt Oprah was meant to make them more popular, instead they were judged badly for washing their dirty laundry, and the famous recollections may vary comment from the Queen, then sued by her half sister.

Finally Harry's autobiography was no doubt meant to be a runaway success and restore their popularity. But this hasn't quite happened.

She must be quite overwhelmed that all her best laid plans have gone tits up, and they are the but of jokes, rather than friends with Obamas.

She seems to be a tryer, so be interestingly to see where they go from here.

It sold well - but maybe not for the reasons they hoped 😁and doesn't seem to have done much for their popularity (except decrease it).

It could have worked, but then they could have done similar in the UK. If you put yourself out there in the media, you don't get to choose what is said about you. Live a 'boring' life by media standards i.e. a private life and the story will die down. They could have 'retired' as working royals, settled into a quiet family life at Frogmore Cottage with occasional appearances when the extended family get together, and supported their chosen causes behind the scenes. The occasional designer outfit and statement hat for Ascot. Tea with Granny at Windsor, holidays at Balmoral, security largely taken care of, Daddy would probably have been generous with some extra dosh.

I do almost feel a bit sorry for them ( not quite).
Their grand aspirations have come crashing down and they are now a laughing stock ( apart from to their devotees).
It will be interesting to see if they can salvage their reputations or if they continue on their path of self destruction.

When it dawned on her that being married to Harry involved meeting the great unwashed in a community centre in Pontefract, standing behind K&W and, worst of all, not being able to monetise all the free designer gear thrown at you, it was a bust.

The original vision was an A-lister court at Windsor Castle - they’d do the glamour and K&W the graft. I guess Harry did not straightaway disabuse Meghan of all these notions.

But they aren't "young"? She was not "young" when she met him either. She is older than Kate for starters. They might act like teenagers but that has a different name and usually involves trying to cash in.

Harry is younger than both W&K. Also, there is only a one year difference in age between MM and KM. The real difference is MM looks much younger than KM.

Their relationship is relatively 'young' I suppose, compared with W&K. And the Wales children are too young at the moment for speculation about boy/ girlfriends, engagements, weddings etc.

I used to think so but since Kate matched Meghan's filler commitment I can see there is nothing in it. I've seen both of them with wrinkles when they weren't topping up. Neither has good skin for their age.
