Their standing in the US is at an all-time low. US audiences seem to hold them in the same contempt as people in the UK

I saw an article about this the other day. They were carrying we want privacy placards. I didn't see the video. No sign of any porn in what I read.

It's the pegging picture of William, we are talking about, it's been posted by one poster across multiple threads and is in retaliation to the m and h cartoon.

The difference being of course that the cartoon of William is based on rumour and nastiness while, as ThighMistress pointed out, the latest cartoon is on the button, and derived from the horse's mouth, as it were.

Another difference being that William has no need to care what American comedians think of him. He's not attempting to build a 'brand' there.

The sexual nature and that it's rumor. While the current episode is just lampooning observed behavior.

I have reported and had whole threads taken down that were citing truly awful rumors about Harry. Would do the same if I stumbled across one about Meghan or Doria. Though usually when I see these awful rumors it's someone supporting H&M bringing them up from other other places, twitter or reddit.

I wouldn’t talk about anything featured in the cartoon in real life let alone on a forum. It wouldn’t cross my mind. It’s just so ugly. I’ve reported the so called cartoon and this post is the only time I have used the word pegging.

South Park lampoon everyone. And takes the lampooning as far as it can go.

Sometimes it makes me wince and I don't like it, sometimes it makes me roar with laughter.

The H&M clips I've seen have made me laugh loudly. Them holding up signs saying: 'stop looking at us ' 🤣🤣

I think South park have hit the nail of the absurdity of their position.

Harry's book is called 'Waagh' 🤣🤣

Well they're spot on the nose about H&M aren't they? I don't get peoples obsession with pegging though, as if it's meant to be worse than the (alleged) cheating aspect. Why is that?

The retaliation thing is just odd. I don't have a relationship with any of these people. I think posters who are fixated on H&M in an unhealthy way* think everyone who doesn't like them has the same obsessive, protective feelings about W&K.

When I read something negative about W&K I don't get upset, it doesn't "pinch" or whatever.

It's just so weird!

*and that's not everyone who likes them, obviously

Maybe you should see it , if you are going to parachute in here, all indignant. You cannot just criticise one side, while the one who started the whole shenanigan is nice and dandy.

In fact, this whole thread is based on that cartoon, so not sure how you missed it.

So if someone creates a pornographic image of Harry, Meghan or Doria and posts it here we should just all be ok with that? No, I will not.

I’m not familiar with it. I’m in my 60’s, live in a very quiet country and it’s passed me by. I can remember SpongeBob and I saw a few minutes of The Simpsons once when in the UK but that’s all when it comes to this kind of TV show.

South Park does this all the time.

They did the pegging back in 2011, long before it became a rumour. They even killed off HMQE years ago.

Now they are doing H&M and people are suddenly offended by the cartoon from 2011.

I suggest they hold on for the coronation with Charles and Camilla. I have a feeling they will be especially brutal.
