Where is Meghan?

I haven't seen hide-nor-hair of Meghan since the book release which is uncharacteristic of her. Even with the Montecito floods there was no news. So I'm wondering how this is playing out? Happiness or anger behind closed doors?

It's just a different levels of the same behavior

If you think that given the level of criticism from SM there is no hope.

Meghan spoke spitefully about Sammantha, Sammantha spoke spitefully about Meghan

Not quite on the same level as being banned from Twitter as talking about her half sister faking pregnancies, surrogates and her children being actors. Surely?

Samantha used the platform available to her to trash talk her sister. I really don't see a difference.

We can't say that getting banned twitter means much, anyway. We've seen the receipts now of how those strings were getting pulled . Hollywood and PR firms surely had ability to influence twitter officials that people in DC had.

You will always find someone who did something worse in order to justify the bad behavior of Harry and Meghan (and of posters here.)

"Well Tommy was doing it!" was not an valid excuse when I was 7. It's surely not an excuse now.

Not expecting a reply from the actual poster.

It's been my experience lately that posters who do drive-by, inarticulate posts like what I quoted above will then ignore any attempts at discussion.

Mumsnet SussexRoyal Chorus.

Does that matter in this case though - they plant a seed and then the Mumsnet gardeners come to grow it and have a debate, and we enlighten, infuriate, and pass the time in our own sweet ways when I'm sure the vast majority could be doing something better.

I hope you're joking here.

What is this?

I seriously don't understand.

purpledalmation · 03/03/2023 19:53

Samantha is a bit unhinged and massively jealous

Ohnonevermind · 03/03/2023 19:57

Meghan is also jealous, neither Sammantha nor Meghan handle jealousy well.

You don't think Sunshine Sachs had the pull to get Samantha banned?

You may not have been paying attention to what was actually happening at Twitter. If you have any interest, Matt Taibbi has been very enlightening.

purpledalmation · 03/03/2023 19:58

I feel sorry for her though as she had a poor childhood and it must have been difficult seeing Meghan get all she wanted.

Ohnonevermind · 03/03/2023 19:59

Meghan likes to use intermediaries to attack her sister.

we’ve all seen the emails from the court case

It's referencing an immature 'debating' style. E.g. When a child is accused of something, instead of responding to the accusation they remind their mum of something their sibling did last year.

More like dropping odiferous fertilizer and wandering off.

🤣 too true

purpledalmation · 03/03/2023 20:03

@AliceOlive Have you seen the you tuber Nate the lawyer and how he exposes the twitter misuse by the man on the Netflix reality show? Can't remember his name, but it shows him making offensive tweets about K&W, and how twitter completely debunks his assertion there was a concerted campaign against Meghan? Has proper evidence, tax returns, legal papers etc. exposes the whole thing he says on Netflix.

Nice analogy... 😉But if they were very devious, they could have named changed after their dump. But I DIDN'T DO THAT.

Always the exact same names that pop up to defend on every thread. Everyone just got bored of arguing their points. Bit like how the Brexit voters don’t post about it or the Tory voters. No point the same names will pop up and drag you down to their levels of insanity posting.

Meghan wanted a rich well known husband. Harry wanted anyone who would wed him.
Match made in hell/heaven
They are both using each other for reasons that anit good.

I don't agree. Not in a million years. I know about Twitter. And no, they could not get Samantha Markle pulled. Dorsey was a different kettle of fish to Musk.

Bottoms up too ... 🍾If Mumsnet ran the country there would be no problems, just solutions and done with good grace !

Ok, clearly you are out of the loop here. This all happened under Dorsey. And it's all absolutely insane. Staffers from DC emailing executives at Twitter and getting accounts gagged, banned or removing their tweets from being amplified. Not because of any false or defamatory information, but just because of politics.

Super illegal in the US.

No problems because we would all be online making petty arguments about stupid shit. 😂

I'm not clearly out the loop thanks.
