I haven't seen hide-nor-hair of Meghan since the book release which is uncharacteristic of her. Even with the Montecito floods there was no news. So I'm wondering how this is playing out? Happiness or anger behind closed doors?

You can only keep up a lie for so long, even a sugary one. Even narcs usually crack around the ten year mark according to my friend (a divorce lawyer) who deals with endless eleven year marriages coming to an end.

Pre school is pre school anywhere, for a 3 year old and especially in the US. Nothing different really from everywhere else, in fact a bit lighter than in the UK. And also if you have all the money in the world to pay for help, this is just not the thing.
