Harry demsding aplogy - royals must come clean

I thought this was blowing over but Harry has now said royals must apologise and come clean for what they've done. These are quite strong words I think. And now a royal aide to the late Queen wants an aplogy for something in the book he says refers to him. Maybe the royals will have to make a statement if Harry keeps on.

"And Pat the Ludgrove matron? What was her failing?"

I have not read the book yet, but if he does make fun of someone who is disabled, I agree this is despicable. I just don't think the Royal Family are squeaky clean either, and think they've also got a lot to answer for.

He does sadly. He also says she didn't make the boys horny

@StatisticallyChallenged

I agree that's awful. I'm saddened to see him almost boasting about making fun of another's hardship. Very disappointing! 😔

Noonesperfect · 15/01/2023 14:51

I was no angel as a child and now cringe at some of the things I did. It's not that he did this as a child, but that he still doesn't seem aware how wrong it is as an adult looking back.

BellePeppa · 15/01/2023 14:55

Serious question. If Harry continues to throw his family under the bus could it be considered harassment and a legal restraining order put against him and his wife in the same way Ioan Gruffadd had to against his ex wife?

Livinghappy · 15/01/2023 14:56

That is truly awful and to repeat it as an adult without any remorse is shocking. The person who is "empathy challenged" is Harry.

He is so privileged that he can't see why an unwell woman would have to continue with a job (and have no joy in doing it) because she had no other choice. That's such an unpleasant paragraph and shows his character.

AutumnCrow · 14/01/2023 22:09

Is it about Andrew, this 'apologise or else'?

If Harry has any intel on the RF covering up for Andrew (over Epstein, Maxwell and the sex trafficking) then surely it is his duty is to reveal it now, not hold it over the RF as a form of blackmail.

If not, then it's still interesting why H doesn't have an opinion on that - the biggest scandal to rock the royal family in my lifetime. Andrew remained friends with a convicted paedophile ffs. H must have an opinion.

Funny how he's so noisy about drugs, sex, his knob and bridesmaids dresses but quiet on Andrew.

Meghan and Harry couldn't give a stuff about what Andrew did is my opinion.

He’s nasty, cruel and he’s spiteful, regardless of his childhood or anything else. As well as the nastiness he showed that matron (no excuses to be retelling it as an adult with no apology or remorse) but he’s been seriously cruel to his polo ponies but I guess none of that matters to their fans because all that matters to them (and him) are his delicate feelings are never hurt (but f*ck anybody else’s, or animals, feelings.

momtoboys · 15/01/2023 15:32

I hope the family keeps ignoring them and not making a statement. This course of action will give the press and H less to talk about and this will blow over.

Greyhave · 14/01/2023 22:38

People really do love the status quo! They have been treated like crap by the RF and the British Media so good on him getting his book out and taking a stand against all the BS they’ve had to put up with for years now.

So why is he still talking about being willing to do some RF stuff if they reconcile? Apart from any of the family drama stuff what do you make of his actual character?

Messiah Complex.

He’s not the Messiah, he’s a very naughty boy.

I’m starting to think he’s completely barking. Likely a mixture of early trauma, dysfunctional upbringing, lack of intelligence, and a wife who massively - and likely deliberately- exacerbates and aggravates his inferiority complex, paranoia and mental health issues. Plus I think he may have addled his brains with drugs somewhat. What a fool, it is painful to watch. He could have had a wonderful life.

I think that footage in their reality show (I haven’t watched it but have seen segments), where they’re in a car and some pap is apparently following them on a scooter - (though it seems set up) - his wife is most definitely encouraging him to feel paranoid with her repeating how there’s someone following them etc with no playing it down especially as there does not appear to be anyone following them at all. She’s literally ‘feeding’ him to the paranoia wolves (or maybe she’s throwing him to them, who knows the difference).

I accept that changes need to be made to the media and to the monarchy. However, this pair of stoned eejits are not going to be the ones who bring about any positive change. They are primarily speaking out to raise their personal fortunes, their vision is always self serving in the end with small doses of faux charity thrown in for self-publicity. Their ideas for change are not practicable and do not demonstrate visionary thinking or leadership potential. The paranoia, word salad and professional victimhood has set reform back by years and they are only just warming up at this point!

That scene really stood out for me. I think she said ‘ten minutes to safety’ or something like that. I definitely think H is in a very bad emotional state.
I was at a large dinner party last night. It was noisy with lots of chatter going on. Someone said ‘Prince Harry’ and the whole table stopped to hear what she was staying. Then everyone chipped in. I’ve never seen such a unanimous point of view. He has become so unpopular, I wonder how this is all going to turn out,

BasiliskStare · 15/01/2023 16:54

@Talapia 😂

Coxspurplepippin · 15/01/2023 16:56

It was a very weird scene. No evidence of them being followed at all, but the continual turning round in their seats - that poor pizza delivery guy must have wondered what the hell was going on!

BasiliskStare · 15/01/2023 17:11

One thing I would say & this may not be PH - but I have a sibling who used cannabis a lot. He was in a bad way for more than 10 years. My parents helped him and he is now in a good way. So - I do not know how Harry is - I do not know the chap. - but I would advise him not to be smoking joints when he is feeling angry and now whether he is in Canada or California . I suspect he and his wife want a lifestyle they think they are entitled to - but consider how various drugs and cannabis may have contributed to various things. Not saying they have but my father worked for a rehabilitation place for people with MH issues and the common denominator in may cases was cannabis . It often contributed to paranoia

It's just a comment - I do not ( for the avoidance of doubt ) know what Harry's therapists have told him. So I may very well be wrong .

He does sadly. He also says she didn't make the boys horny

That’s description of her is really shocking. It sounds like it’s written by a child, and what must that poor woman’s family think? It’s so disrespectful.

BasiliskStare · 15/01/2023 18:32

One question - I think M&H said they would give money to charity for / from their projects but I think they based their company in a US state where tax is different. & less transparent .Have they said how much they have give / intend to charity from Harry's book

He doesn't say that, that's in the Spanish retranslated into English.

MechanicaHound · 15/01/2023 20:09

Is it likely he is still using drugs, and that is massively influencing his current behaviour?

@TeaMistress if you read the book, it's clear that he's been doing drugs for over 20 years and is still taking them.

I’ve not read the book but I’m sure I saw one extract saying he would smoke joints at Tyler Perry’s house once Archie was in bed. So yes, a long time to be doing drugs.
