Harry demsding aplogy - royals must come clean

I thought this was blowing over but Harry has now said royals must apologise and come clean for what they've done. These are quite strong words I think. And now a royal aide to the late Queen wants an aplogy for something in the book he says refers to him. Maybe the royals will have to make a statement if Harry keeps on.

Totally. He keeps poking and poking the bear and nobody’s rising to the bait. He’ll be kicking and screaming on the floor soon.

I wonder what he'll call Volume 2??

Harry: The Tantrum Years

heldinadream · 14/01/2023 19:23

He's having a public meltdown. I worry for his future.

Wheresthebeach · 14/01/2023 19:27

I fully expect to see him stamping his feet in frustration next.

The RF is right to ignore, I think its making him crazy, but they can't fuel this shit show with an answer. Anything other than 'you're 100% right, and we're 100% wrong we're so sorry' plus Harry in charge (saving everyone) will be rejected. He thinks he's better than they are, and that his vision of the monarchy (whatever that is) is what they should follow.

Its a shame but he's coming across as a tad deranged.

Has he volunteered any of the mistakes he made towards his family? If you truly want reconciliation then you need to admit your wrongdoings too. Both sides have made mistakes but a lack of trust means that they can't move forward.

He doesn’t think he’s done anything wrong. He’s as dumb as a rock.

watchfulwishes · 14/01/2023 19:35

Undoubtedly there are apologies required on both sides if therebis to be any reconciliation. The problem is the RF can't, because they do not think there's anything wrong with the way they are. They also can't because they can't open the can of worms.

The truth of the whole story, IMO, is that Harry is upset the RF puts the family business ahead of the family itself - and that is exactly right! They'd ostracise anyone who threatens the business.

bloodyplanes · 14/01/2023 19:36

The palace are doing exactly the right thing by not responding. The more he speaks the more unhinged he sounds, he's like a spoilt toddler laying on the floor kicking and screaming!

Suzi89 · 14/01/2023 19:38

My sister went through a period of taking drugs and behaved exactly like Harry. On Facebook airing out private business on Facebook. I’ve experienced it on a tiny scale and it’s awful so I can’t image how W&K are feeling.

4thtimeunlucky · 14/01/2023 19:39

Where (how) has he asked for an apology?
Is it new today?

I thought it was fair enough that they (Meghan and Harry) wanted to put out their own version of events/set the record straight/quell any rumours or untruths etc.

But now they have. What then?

Everyone's heard or read his point of view.

The RF very rarely make public statements, or apologies or get into debates....but they are also unlikely to want to reconcile privately for fear of any details being used as material for the next series or book.

CoffeandTiaMaria · 14/01/2023 19:39

According to the Times there are plans underway for a reconciliation before the Coronation?

I wouldn’t trust the odious little oik one inch, he’s pretty much resorting to blackmail now saying there’s much more.
Book 2? ‘Spite’ sounds appropriate.

Suzi89 · 14/01/2023 19:40

I can’t believe this MAN is almost 40 years old. He definitely behaves exactly how you’d expect a Prince whose never heard the word “No” would behave.

If a sibling of mine started demanding apologies in a similar manner I'd be flicking the vs at them and telling them to get tae fuck.

I expect William would love to do that. 🤼

oakleaffy · 14/01/2023 19:45

His past Girlfriend says she doesn’t recognise him now, and thinks he’s being manipulated.

Clearly he’s a complete brat, has never matured enough to be fair and rational with his family-
He is behaving like a toddler stamping and raging while the grown ups ignore him.

Gone spare.

Bluekerfuffle · 14/01/2023 20:05

He is such an arse. He’s apparently said this is in a telegraph interview:

If only 10 per cent of the scrutiny that was put on me and M was put on this institution, we wouldn’t be in this mess right now. It’s so dirty. It's so dark. And it will continue and it will carry on and I look forward to the day when we are no longer part of it, but I worry about who's next

What is he talking about? They aren’t part of it any more are they? And why are they insisting on keeping their royal titles if they hate it so much? It must be exhausting for the rest of the family trying to deal with someone with the mind of a spoilt brat teenager.

queenofarles · 14/01/2023 20:08

theres an Asian saying , Dogs bark but the caravan keeps moving on,
the more the DF stay silent the louder Harry barks, the publishers are Loving this , means another book is coming.

BunnyFantastic · 14/01/2023 20:09

I think Harry is struggling with not getting a reaction to what he doing.
Yes, I think you’re right on this.

This is a lesson to all of us dealing with a difficult family member. The Royal Family, love them or hate them, are giving a masterclass on Grey Rock-ing.

SammyScrounge · 14/01/2023 20:15

ZeroFuchsGiven · 14/01/2023 18:53

I've said this before and I'll say it again. He has pickled his brain with drugs.

Yup. He has fried his brains. And now he is SO worried about William's children being brought up by by his brother and wants to fix things for them, the pompous ass. Who in their right mind would let Harry be a role model for their children.

StormzyinaTCup · 14/01/2023 20:16

The grey rock-ing is clearly making him really mad (no surprise there). I think he thought he could dismantle the family motto of 'never complain, never explain' by forcing/goading the RF into having to complain and explain - the RF are playing aren't playing ball.
