Harry demsding aplogy - royals must come clean

Viviennemary · 14/01/2023 18:19

I thought this was blowing over but Harry has now said royals must apologise and come clean for what they've done. These are quite strong words I think. And now a royal aide to the late Queen wants an aplogy for something in the book he says refers to him. Maybe the royals will have to make a statement if Harry keeps on.

@MechanicaHound www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/jan/13/prince-harry-i-left-out-details-as-i-feared-family-would-not-forgive-me

He has a multiple book deal apparently. Of course he doesn't say I'll publish this additional shit if you don't apologise, but you don't need to be Sherlock to work it out

Wow. From the article in the Guardian:

"Meanwhile, he admitted that trying to change “an institution” and the media landscape was “no small task” but that he was adopting “long-term, strategic thinking” to see through this “enormous” challenge."

All that dope has really addled his brain, hasn't it? He's delusional.

Greyhave · 14/01/2023 22:38

People really do love the status quo! They have been treated like crap by the RF and the British Media so good on him getting his book out and taking a stand against all the BS they’ve had to put up with for years now.

Zosime · 14/01/2023 22:41

I imagine that will be the end of his relationship with Eugenie.

I imagine his description of the matron with her crooked spine will be the end of his relationship with Eugenie, who had a 'crooked spine' herself.

Hadn't picked up on that but given she works with scoliosis charities and proudly displayed her scar rather than hiding it she may not be best pleased...

Messiah Complex.

He’s not going to get anything. I imagine at the jubilee he will be allowed to participate to the minimum and then send away again.
No one is going to have any kind of meaningful conversation with him again.

@Aspiringmatriarch Interview published in the Telegraph this morning.

Thanks!

AuroraCake · 14/01/2023 23:09

You just gotta hope nothing happens to him. I have had enough now. Be quiet no one cares. Like someone else said. The royal family have a Faustian pact with the media. You are better in than out. But even Scobie has said it isn’t anywhere near what he says.

TeaMistress · 14/01/2023 23:15

He sounds delusional and paranoid. He has admitted to substance abuse previously. Is it likely he is still using drugs, and that is massively influencing his current behaviour? I have no doubt that his family is probably worried about him, but he sounds utterly unhinged. He is either seriously mentally unwell and / or has a serious issue with substance abuse, or we are seeing the real Harry who is coming across like a spiteful petulant bellend who will stop at nothing to sell out his family for large sums of money. He doesn't sound like he has an ounce of conscience or remorse for what he is doing to his family. As far as I can see, he hasn't provided a shred of tangible proof for any of his allegations. He clearly hates his family and hates the fact that they are taking the grey rock approach. His family will never be able to trust him ever again because he will sell every aspect of their lives to the highest bidder. Doesn't that make his behaviour far worse than anything he has accused others of doing.

echt · 14/01/2023 23:28

What I don't get is why Prince Harry thinks the RF would break their rule of silence for him. They do this for a reason, and as hard as it must be for them to shut up, the wisdom of doing so is brought home with every latest update by PH.

Myotherpetisamouse · 15/01/2023 08:03

I don’t think it’s drugs affecting his behaviour. I think he’s been conditioned by his spouse.

freyamay74 · 15/01/2023 08:21

Oh the irony.... he's doing to his own kids what he blames other members of the Royal family for doing to theirs..

His kids are growing up with two dysfunctional parents who are cashing in by spewing bile about their grandparent, their uncle and aunt... The fact their father was (is?) a drug user on a big scale, oh and how about compromising their security by mouthing off about how many Taliban he killed...

Quite aside from the fact he sounds paranoid and delusional and the interviews and book are a total embarrassment: he clearly doesn't give a shit about screwing up his children.

So he's doing all this for the public is he?

He talks about smoking weed In Montecino. So sounds like he is still using drugs. Great example to his kids.

Could be a tantrum or a drug fuelled deluded assessment. Threats can earn people an Intervention Order.

An apology gained under duress is not really an apology.
Harry is the one behaving badly.
Who would ever speak with Harry again; their every word could be recorded and published.

People really do love the status quo! They have been treated like crap by the RF and the British Media so good on him getting his book out and taking a stand against all the BS they’ve had to put up with for years now.

Except he also insulted the woman who worked at his school - without a word of 'what a nasty child I was' (because he couldn't be, could he - Saint Harry).

His own cousin had to have spine surgery when he was 18 years old so he can hardly say, now, that he doesn't see the hurt that words can cause to people with a disability. What an insult to Eugenie too. How would he like it if his daughter develops a disability and people take the piss out of her? But no apology from him.

He revealed personal things about his brother with the circumcision. Not his business to tell one or the other and proves what? Other than he's not to be trusted with secrets.

He pointed out his father's bullying trauma (with regards to the teddy bear). Without the man's permission. What an enlightened champion of mental health he is (not).

He made his wife look flaky by having her 'collapsing in tears on the floor' over a bust up over bridesmaids dresses (which did have to be altered because they didn't fit) and implied what by mentioning that Kate grimaced when Meghan used her lip gloss?

I don't see how any of those episodes prove the media or the RF treated him or her like crap. All it proves is that he's lost the plot, can't tell right from wrong and can't string a sentence together without doing a brain dump.

As for the 'I demand an apology', he's getting more like Cathy's ghost in Wuthering Heights - standing outside the window, banging on the glass and demanding to come in. You can imagine a sketch in a comedy show with him running from window to window at Buckingham Palace and the RF just drawing the curtains closed on him.

Yes totally agree ☝️. Harry's not behaving perfectly, but let's not pretend the RF are, it's pathetic.

And Pat the Ludgrove matron? What was her failing?

With the current demand of 'They owe my wife an apology' I think he like a tantrumming toddler who is screaming 'take notice of me!'.

The RF are grey rocking it and he cannot stand it.

Bluekerfuffle · 15/01/2023 14:12

How have the RF treated them like crap? They claim they gave the media unflattering stories about them, but they have no proof and it sounds ridiculous. I can imagine some of the more unpleasant and snooty staff might, but unlikely the family themselves would. Most of the unflattering stories I saw came from either her own family or certain member of the press that had an axe to grind with her.

sashagabadon · 15/01/2023 14:17

Most of the unflattering stories I heard circa 2019 (rude to staff, Tiara gate, bridesmaids gate) have turned out to be true and are confirmed in the book!
I also think Meghan team plants stories too.
I would like to hear an actual story that Harry thinks Camilla has planted. Which story / stories does he mean?

Pixiedust1234 · 15/01/2023 14:24

I'm not entirely sure what the apology would be for considering most of H's complaints centre around his delusions and lies. Does he want a basic non-apology of "we are sorry you feel sad"?

I can’t remember which royal commentator said it but I heard this explained as the Palace press teams had managed to keep the lid on unflattering stories until the wedding planning started up - the influx of freelancers, contractors and their teams working on various wedding related tasks meant leaks were happening from multiple places and the press teams couldn’t fight all the fires.

Sounds logical, if not very exciting!

Noonesperfect · 15/01/2023 14:36

"And Pat the Ludgrove matron? What was her failing?"

I have not read the book yet, but if he does make fun of someone who is disabled, I agree this is despicable. I just don't think the Royal Family are squeaky clean either, and think they've also got a lot to answer for.
